    Abstract: There is provided an optical engine for a navigation device including a first light source, a second light source, a lens, a barrier structure and an image sensor. The barrier structure has a first space for containing the first light source, a second space for containing the lens and a third space for containing the second light source and the image sensor. The reflected light associated with the first light source propagates to the image sensor via the lens in the second space. The reflected light associated with the second light source propagates to the image sensor via the third space without passing through the lens in the second space.

    Abstract: An optical detecting device includes a light source, an optical detecting component, a package structure and a light tight component. The light source outputs a sampling signal to project onto an external object. The optical detecting component is disposed by the light source and has an interval relative to the light source. The optical detecting component receives the sampling signal reflected from the external object. The package structure covers the optical detecting component and the light source, and includes an illuminating surface unit and an incident surface unit respectively corresponding to the light source and the optical detecting component, and further includes an isolation component disposed between the illuminating surface unit and the emerging surface unit. The light tight component is disposed on the isolation component to obstruct transmission path of the sampling signal from the illuminating surface unit to the incident surface without reflection by the external object.

    Abstract: An optical detecting module with waterproofing function can be installed on a housing of a wearable device and includes an optical detecting component, a light source and a packaging structure. The light source is disposed by the optical detecting component, and the packaging structure provides the waterproofing function to the optical detecting component and the light source. The packaging structure includes a main body, a light emitting unit, alight incoming unit and a waterproofing component. The main body covers the optical detecting component and the light source. The light emitting unit and the light incoming unit are disposed on the main body and respectively face the light source and the optical detecting component. The waterproofing component is filled into a gap formed between the main body and the housing, to prevent moisture from leaking into the gap to rust terminals of the optical detecting component and the light source.

    Abstract: A pen mouse is provided for controlling a movement of a cursor displayed on a monitor. The pen mouse includes a pen and an optical detection module assembled in the pen. The optical detection module includes a circuit board, two sensors, and a laser emitter, the latter two of which are assembled onto the circuit board. When the pen mouse is moved along a working surface to implement a mouse control motion, the two sensors receive a detection light emitted from the laser emitter and reflected by the working surface, so as to determine whether the mouse control motion is a pen-tilted motion or a pen-spinning motion, thereby compensating the movement of the cursor.
