摘要： A novel enhanced stopcock is disclosed, as well as related methods, that safely controls flow of flow materials from a pump. Pump fills a first chamber, from which a second chamber is filled. Flow material is dispensed from the second chamber when the stop cock is moved to a different position wherein it is no longer in fluid communication with the first chamber. Pressure sensors disposed in fluid communication with first and second chambers are used to determine the volume of flow material dispensed.

摘要： A vacuum demand valve for delivering a flowable material is disclosed. The valve has a housing having a proximal end, a distal end, an intermediate segment therebetween defining a passageway wherein the flowable substance can flow from the proximal end to the distal end. The housing can be a tubing. A valve member is located along the intermediate segment. The valve member has a closed condition wherein the flow of the flowable material from the proximal end to the distal end is stopped and an open condition wherein the flow of the flowable material from the proximal end to the distal end is unstopped. The valve member is biased in the closed condition and is responsive to a partial vacuum provided by the user through the passageway for placing the valve member in the open condition.

A pump fills a flow metering device with a flow material, which then dispenses the flow material to a target. The flow material charges the device by moving into at least one chamber when an actuation shaft is in a charging position. Flow materials are dispensed from the chambers of the flow metering device when the actuation shaft is moved into at least one dispensing positions.
