摘要： In heat-setting mixtures of a polyisocyanate with a polyol which have a long shelf life at room temperature, the polyisocyanate is present, in the form of discrete particles, in the polyol, and the polyisocyanate particles are deactivated at their surface. From 0.01 to 0.499 equivalent percent of the total amount of isocyanate groups present is deactivated by a primary or secondary amine or water, or from 0.01 to 20 equivalent percent of the said isocyanate groups is deactivated with a compound containing carboxyl, phenolic hydroxyl, amide or hydrazide groups.These mixtures are useful as coating compositions, adhesives and sealant materials, particularly as undersealants for motor vehicles.

摘要： In heat-setting mixtures which have a long shelf life at room temperature and comprise a polyisocyanate and one or more compounds which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, the polyisocyanate is present, in the form of discrete particles, in a saturated or unsaturated amino-, hydrazide-, mercaptan- and/or carboxyl-containing polymer, polycondensate or polyadduct which has a functionality of more than 1 and some of which can be replaced by a polyol, and the polyisocyanate particles are deactivated at their surface so that from 0.01 to 20 equivalent percent of the total amount of isocyanate groups present is deactivated. These mixtures are useful as coating compositions, adhesives and sealant materials, particularly as undersealants for motor vehicles.

摘要： Curable coating agents, a process for the production of scratch-resistant coatings on plastics, and articles coated by this process.The coating agents are polycondensates ofa reaction product, containing two or more carbon-carbon double bonds and one or more hydroxyl or alkoxy groups per molecule, obtained from an olefinically unsaturated silane containing 2 or more hydroxyl or alkoxy groups, whose olefinically unsaturated organic radical is bonded via a C-Si bond, and a hydroxyl-containing .alpha., .beta.-olefinically unsaturated monomer,an olefinically unsaturated silane of the general formulaR.sup.1 --Si(OR.sup.2).sub.3 where R.sup.1 is a vinyl radical or an alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate radical bonded to the Si atom via a C--Si bond and R.sup.2 is hydrogen or a saturated hydrocarbon radical, anda saturated silane of the general formula ##STR1## where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are saturated or aromatic hydrocarbon radicals,with or without an epoxide-containing silane which also contains hydroxyl or alkoxy groups; the polycondensate may additionally contain an olefinically unsaturated reaction product of acrylic or methacrylic acid and a polyalcohol or polyether-ol.The coating agent is used to produce scratch-resistant coatings on the surface of plastics.

摘要： A polyamide-imide precondensate which is solid at room temperature, but is fusible and soluble in polar solvents. It is manufactured by first condensing 1 mole of diamine with 2 moles of tricarboxylic acid anhydride in a diol as the solvent, to give a diimide-dicarboxylic acid, then esterifying the diimide-dicarboxylic acid with the diol and finally effecting the polycondensation by adding 1 mole of diamine per mole of diester. The precondensate may be used, as a melt, as a solution in organic solvents or as an aqueous dispersion, for coating electrical conductors.

摘要： A surface-coating binder which is substantially free from epoxide groups is obtained by reacting Mannich bases, obtained from condensed phenols, secondary amines which contain at least one hydroxyalkyl group, and formaldehyde, with epoxy resins having an epoxide value of from 0.15 to 0.6, which carry blocked isocyanate groups. In the protonized form, the binders may be used for the cationic electrocoating of metal articles.
