摘要： A catalyst composition for use in oligomerization of olefins contained in refinery distillate streams including paraffins, naphthenes, and aromatics therein, the catalyst consisting of a first constituent which is at least one aluminum halide; and a second constituent which is at least one alkoxide of a transition metal of Group IVB of the Periodic Table and which has a general formula:M(OR).sub.4,where M is selected from the group consisting of metals of Group IVB of the Periodic Table and R is one of (a) an alkyl group having from 1-12 carbon atoms or (b) an alkylaryl group having an alkyl chain having from 1-12 carbon atoms.

摘要： A process for the preparation of an inert oxide supported metal halide organo aluminium compound catalyst. The catalyst is obtained by reacting an activated support having surface hydroxyl groups with aluminium chloride selected from aluminium chloride solution and aluminium chloride vapors. A solution of an aluminium alkyl is added to the reacted support. The solvent is removed and the reacted support is dried.

摘要： This invention relates to a catalyst composition capable of effecting selective oligomerisation of olefins contained in cracked refinery distillate streams, comprising of olefins, aromatics, paraffins and cycloparaffins. The catalyst composition gives very high conversion of olefins to poly olefins, which after distillation and stabilization by hydrogenation affords lubricating oil base stocks. The catalyst composition comprises of an aluminum halide and a transition metal alkoxide belonging to group IVB.

摘要： A process for the oligomerization and co-oligomerization of alpha olefins by subjecting olefins to the step of oligomerization in the presence of a supported aluminum chloride catalyst and an organoaluminum compound as a promoter. The catalyst is separated and the reaction product is subjected to the step of fractional distillation for removal of the solvent. The oligomers are further fractionated to obtain poly alpha olefins.

摘要： A process for the preparation of oligomers which are used in synthetic lubricant base stocks. The oligomers are prepared by contacting a mixture of linear olefins and n-paraffins contained in cracked refinery streams having 6 to 24 carbon atoms with activated Y-zeolites. The oligomers and unreacted monomers are subjected to the step of hydrogenation and the lower saturated paraffins are separated therefrom to produce synthetic lubricant base stock.

摘要： A process for the preparation of heterogeneous zirconium based catalyst for polymerization of alpha-olefins to super high molecular weight poly (alpha-olefins). The process comprises in mixing zirconium alcholate or phenolate with anhydrous magnesium chloride in the presence of a solvent. The mixture is heated, then cooled and an organoaluminum compound is added. Optionally, an electron donor compound is added and heated to obtain a black slurry, which is cooled and then washed with a hydrocarbon diluent.

摘要： A process for the preparation of sulphurized calcium phenate from cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL). Distilled or hydrogenated distilled CNSL is reacted with calcium salt and sulphur in the presence of promoters to obtain a reaction mixture. The reaction mixture is subjected to the step of carbonation to obtain basic sulfurized calcium phenate, which may be subjected to a further step of basefication to obtain overbased sulphurized calcium phenate. Such a calcium phenate is added to lubricating oil or grease as an additive.

摘要： A process for the preparation of amino di(alkylaryl) phosphorodithioate for use as an additive in a lubricant composition so as to impart improved coefficient of friction, wear reduction, antioxidant and extreme pressure properties, including the steps of(a) reacting a starting material selected from the group consisting of distilled cashew nut shell liquid and distilled hydrogenated cashew nut shell liquid with phosphorus pentasulfide to obtain unpolymerized cashew nut shell liquid phosphorodithioic acid, the reacting being carried out at a temperature ranging from 40 to 80.degree. C. when the starting material is distilled cashew nut shell liquid and at a temperature ranging up to 140.degree. C. and above when the starting material is distilled hydrogenated cashew nut shell liquid; and(b) condensing the unpolymerized cashew nut shell liquid phosphorodithioic acid with at least one amine to obtain the amino di(alkylaryl) phosphorodithioate. A lubricant containing a major proportion of a material selected from the group consisting of an oil of lubricating viscosity and a grease; and remainder an additive including amino di(alkylaryl)phosphorodithioate prepared by the foregoing process.

摘要： The present invention relates a surfactant composition for use as an emulsifier in water blended fuel mixture. The said composition includes ethoxylate of cashew nut shell liquid. In addition ethoxylate of cashew nut shell liquid, the said composition comprises a co-surfactant having a hydrophilic lipophilic balance in the range of 4 to 12 and a polymeric dispersant. The water blended fuel mixture using emulsifiers of the present invention, overcome some of the shortcomings of the previously known emulsions. The ethoxylate of cashew nut shell liquid is of the formula (I).
