摘要: A recording and reproducing apparatus and method which prevents or managing a data loss caused by each of seek operations in recording/reproducing a time-series digital data set, to/from a disk recording media via a buffer. Beforerecording/reproducing, a check is made, by using a rate of data transfer with the outside, a data transfer rate in an access to a track where each of the selected sectors lies, and a seek time for each of changes in tracks, to see if the buffer will overflow/underflow during the period of recording/reproducing. If so, then an input/output data transfer rate is reduced before recording/reproducing to make the check. In case of recording, if there is at least a substitute for a sector which will cause the overflow, the sector is changed to a substitute.

摘要: A recording apparatus that can implement an endless recording function and a prealert recording function for video and audio data using a single random access recording medium having excellent random accessibility will be provided. The recording apparatus includes: an input section 101 that receives data; a recording section 103 that has a random access recording medium and makes a data recording onto the random access recording medium; and a control section 104 that sequentially records data onto recording sectors by controlling data transfer between the input section and the recording section. By causing the control section to repetitively overwrite data to a recording area, the endless recording function can be implemented.

摘要: In a paging receive for use in a radio paging system which employs a sophisticated data communication protocol, all protocol analysis operations such as de-interleaving and error correction processing are performed by a CPU which executes a control program, with the analysis being performed only on those received data frames which contain messages addressed to that paging receiver, and with the protocol analysis being performed first for the address field of such a frame, to obtain information specifying the position within a message field of that frame of requisite specific message data which are addressed to the paging receiver, then being performed only for these specific message data, within that message field. The control program is executed as two separate processes, each of which can be interrupted in response to interrupt signals supplied to the CPU and subsequently restarted, with one process performing protocol analysis and the other process performing operations which are requested through function switch actuations, so that such operations requests can be registered while protocol analysis is in progress, enabling rapid response to the requests.

摘要: In a message receiving apparatus, a radio paging signal is demodulated into a baseband signal. The baseband signal is decoded into corresponding data. Address information is recovered from the data. Message information is recovered from the data. The recovered message information is subjected to an error correction process. On the other hand, the recovered address information is prevented from being subjected to the error correction process.

摘要: Provided is a lithographic printing plate support that has excellent scratch resistance and is capable of obtaining a presensitized plate which exhibits excellent on-press developability and enables a lithographic printing plate formed therefrom to have a long press life and excellent deinking ability after suspended printing. The lithographic printing plate support includes an aluminum plate, and an aluminum anodized film formed thereon and having micropores which extend in a depth direction of the anodized film from a surface of the anodized film opposite from the aluminum plate. Each micropore has a large-diameter portion which extends to a depth of 5 to 60 nm (depth A) from the anodized film surface, and a small-diameter portion which communicates with the bottom of the large-diameter portion, further extends to a depth of 900 to 2,000 nm from the communication position and has a predetermined average diameter.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a probe card which has good stability of the connection between testing electrodes and test electrodes even after exposure to high temperatures in the burn-in test, and is less susceptible to displacements in the positions of contact between the testing electrodes and conductive portions or between the conductive portions and probe needles or the test electrodes even after repeated use of the probe card. The probe card of the present invention is a probe card which includes a testing circuit board having the testing electrodes formed so as to correspond to the test electrodes and an anisotropic conductive member electrically connecting the test electrodes with the testing electrodes. The testing electrodes are formed so that at least ends of the testing electrodes protrude from a surface of the testing circuit board, and the anisotropic conductive member is a member which has an insulating base made of an anodized aluminum film having micropores therein and a plurality of conductive paths made of a conductive material, insulated from one another, and extending through the insulating base in a thickness direction of the insulating base.
