Abstract:
Methods of using a curable composition, the curable composition including at least one polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups as the plasticizer on at least one alkaline substrate. The curable composition is storage-stable, easy to handle and highly elastic after curing, and does not show any tendency to separate or migrate. It enables elastic bonding, sealing or coating of alkaline substrates, such as, in particular, fresh or green concrete or cement mortar, without occurrence of troublesome odors triggered by plasticizer hydrolysis.
Abstract:
A curing agent for epoxy resins, containing at least one amine adduct of formula (I) which can be obtained as an addition product of a mixture of a primary diamine, a monoalkylated other diamine and a polyepoxide. The curing agent makes it possible to produce low-odor, low-emission epoxy resin products, in particular coatings, which have a surprisingly low viscosity, a high curing rate, a high final hardness, and a surprisingly appealing surface.
Abstract:
An amidine containing at least one structural unit of the formula (I) and the use thereof as catalyst for the crosslinking of a functional compound, especially of a polymer having silane groups. The amidine is preparable in a simple process from readily available starting materials, is largely odorless at room temperature and is of low toxicity. It accelerates the crosslinking of functional compounds surprisingly efficiently and can be adjusted for optimal compatibility with different compositions via the radical to which the structural units of the formula (I) is bonded, which means that such compositions do not have a tendency to migration-related defects such as separation, exudation or substrate soiling.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane including a polyurethane polymer and both an aldimine and an oxazolidine as blocked amine hardeners in a specific ratio range. The membrane has a low odor, a long shelf life stability, a low viscosity at low solvent content, a sufficiently long open time to allow hand application and cures fast to a solid elastic material. The liquid-applied waterproofing membrane can be suitable for roofing applications, possessing high strength, high elongation and good durability under outdoor weathering conditions in a broad temperature range.
Abstract:
A polymer preparation consisting of silane-functional polymers, including at least one polymer having at least one terminal group of formula (I) and at least one further silane terminal group, a method for producing the polymer preparation and a composition containing it. The polymer preparation has a surprisingly low viscosity, cross-links surprisingly quickly even without the use of EHS-critical catalysts such as organotin compounds or DBU, and hardens into a non-sticky material with good strength and elasticity. It is especially well suited as an elastic adhesive or sealant or as an elastic coating. The invention further relates to a method for lowering the viscosity of a polymer having at least one terminal group of formula (I) by introducing at least one further silane terminal group.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Special hydroxysilanes, which can be obtained by reacting β-(3,4-epoxycyclohexyl)alkyltrialkoxysilanes with secondary amines, and adducts of the hydroxysilanes in the form of polymers containing silane groups. The hydroxysilanes can be produced having high purity in a simple process and are very stable in storage after production. The polymers containing silane groups that can be obtained by means of the hydroxysilanes have advantageous properties. The polymers enable moisture-curing compositions, which contain no isocyanate groups and which are suitable as elastic adhesives and sealants.
Abstract:
The invention relates to dioxomolybdenum (VI) complex compounds of the formula MoO2(L)x(Y)2-x, where the ligand L has the formula (I). Such complex compounds are suitable in particular as catalysts for one- and two-component polyurethane compositions. The invention also relates to two-component polyurethane compositions including at least one polyisocyanate as the first component, at least one polyol as the second component, and at least one such dioxomolybdenum (VI) complex compound as the catalyst. The invention further relates to one-component polyurethane compositions comprising at least one polyurethane prepolymer with isocyanate groups, which are made from at least one polyisocyanate with at least one polyol, and comprising such a dioxomolybdenum (VI) complex compound as the catalyst. The invention additionally relates to different uses of said polyurethane compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to curing agents for epoxy resins including an alkylated polyethyleneimine. These curing agents have high functionality and a high content of secondary amino groups. Together with epoxy resins, they cure surprisingly quickly and without blushing effects even under humid and cold conditions to form films having very high cross-linking density. They are suited for coatings with high resistance requirements.
