Abstract: A conductive roll for electrophotographic device is provided. The conductive roll for electrophotographic device 10 includes a shaft body 12 and a non-foamed elastic body layer 14 formed on an outer periphery of the shaft body 12. The elastic body layer 14 is made of a cross-linked product of a silicone rubber composition containing the following (a) to (d), and a secondary particle diameter of the following (d) in the elastic body layer 14 is within a range of 100 to 500 nm. (a) is an organopolysiloxane, (b) is a crosslinking agent, (c) is a microcapsule catalyst made of fine resin particles which encapsulate a crosslinking catalyst by a resin other than a silicone resin, and (d) is silica with a BET specific surface area of 70 to 350 m2/g.

Abstract: Provided is a silicone rubber composition that has excellent storage stability and an improved post-curing compression set, and a silicone rubber cross-linked body made from the silicone rubber composition. A silicone rubber composition contains (a) an organopolysiloxane, (b) a cross-linking agent, and (c) a microcapsule type catalyst that is made from resin microparticles encapsulating a cross-linking catalyst, wherein the resin of (c) is one of a thermosetting resin that is thermally cured in the presence of the cross-linking catalyst and a thermosetting resin that is thermally cured in the absence of the cross-linking catalyst.

Abstract: Provided are a silicone rubber composition that is excellent in storage stability and crosslinking reactivity, and a silicone rubber crosslinked body made from the silicone rubber composition. The silicone rubber composition contains (a) an organopolysiloxane, (b) a crosslinking agent, and (c) a microcapsule type catalyst that is made of microparticles of a resin and a crosslinking catalyst encapsulated in the microcapsules, wherein the solubility parameter of the resin of (c) is 7.9 or higher, a thermal conductivity of 0.16 W/m·K or higher, and a glasstransition temperature of 40 to 145 degrees C. The silicone rubber crosslinked body is made of a crosslinked product of the above-described silicone rubber composition.

Abstract: A blade member 1 is used for removal of residual toner 5 remaining on a surface of a counterpart member 4 in an image forming device employing an electrophotographic system, by sliding contact with the counterpart member 4. The blade member 1 includes a blade body 11 made of a polyurethane rubber using diphenylmethane diisocyanate and a polyester polyol as main raw materials, and a film 12 that covers at least a surface of a sliding contact portion of the blade body 11 to contact with the counterpart member 4. The polyurethane rubber has an international rubber hardness degree of 65 to 85 IRHD, a tan δ peak temperature of 8° C. or lower, and a tan δ peak value of 1.1 or less. The film 12 contains a hydrocarbon polymer as a main component.

Abstract: To provide an elastic roll for an electro-photographic apparatus that includes an elastic body layer having a low hardness and being excellent in fatigue resistance, and thus is resistant to fatigue, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.An elastic roll 10 for an electrophotographic apparatus includes a shaft body 12, and a foamed elastic body layer 14 provided on an outer periphery of the shaft body 12, wherein the foamed elastic body layer 14 consists of a silicone rubber foamed body including a plurality of air bubbles 18 in its base material containing cross-linked silicone rubber and a reinforcement material, and wherein the foamed elastic body layer has a communication degree of 40% or more. It is preferable that the elastic roll 10 should further include a skin layer 14a in the foamed elastic body layer 14 on an outer peripheral side.
