    Abstract: The present invention provides a pneumatic tire that achieves a balanced improvement in fuel economy, abrasion resistance, and processability. A pneumatic tire formed from a rubber composition, the rubber composition containing a rubber component including a hydrogenated copolymer and a general purpose rubber, the hydrogenated copolymer containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a structural unit derived from a conjugated diene compound, the hydrogenated copolymer having a degree of hydrogenation of the conjugated diene portion of 30 to 100 mol %, a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 2,000,000, and a styrene content of 5% to 50% by mass, the general purpose rubber being at least one selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, and polybutadiene rubber, the rubber component including, based on 100% by mass thereof, 10% to 80% by mass of the hydrogenated copolymer.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition which is excellent in wet grip performance and abrasion resistance without deteriorating fuel efficiency, and a tire having a tread composed of the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition comprising a rubber component comprising 20 to 90% by mass of a rubber component A and 10 to 80% by mass of a rubber component B, wherein an SP value of the rubber component A is not less than 17.8 (J/cm3)1/2 and an SP value of the rubber component B is lower than the SP value of the rubber component A by not less than 0.6 (J/cm3)1/2, and a tire having a tread composed of the rubber composition.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a pneumatic tire having well-improved rubber tensile strength and abrasion resistance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire formed from a rubber composition, the rubber composition containing: a hydrogenated copolymer obtained by copolymerization of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound, the hydrogenated copolymer having a degree of hydrogenation of the conjugated diene units of 75 mol % or more; a fine particle silica having a CTAB specific surface area of 160 m2/g or more and a BET specific surface area of 170 m2/g or more; and carbon black, the rubber composition containing, per 100% by mass of the rubber component, 75% by mass or more of the hydrogenated copolymer, the rubber composition containing, relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, 3 parts by mass or more of the carbon black.

    Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire achieving a balanced improvement of steering stability, fuel economy, and processability. The pneumatic tire is formed from a rubber composition which includes: a rubber component; a plasticizer component; and a filler component. The rubber component includes: a diene rubber; and a copolymer containing an aromatic moiety as a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and an ethylene moiety as a structural unit derived from ethylene. The ethylene moiety is present in an amount of 15 to 70% by mass based on 100% by mass of the total structural units of the copolymer excluding the aromatic moiety. The copolymer is present in an amount of 5 to 60% by mass based on 100% by mass of the rubber component. The rubber composition satisfies the following relationship: B/A=0.45 to 0.65.
