The plug has a main plug body, a plurality of contact pins projecting from the main plug body and including a contact pin for grounding, and a shielding member surrounding the plurality of contact pins. The socket has a main socket body, a plug receiving part provided on the main socket body for receiving the shielding member, a plurality of contact portions provided within the plug receiving part for making contact with corresponding ones of the plurality of contact pins and including a first contact portion for making contact with the contact pin for grounding, and a second contact portion provided on the main socket body for making contact with the shielding member. The plug is detachably coupled to the socket by inserting the shielding member into the plug receiving part. The first and second contact portions are made of a single contact member.

    摘要: A system and method for feeding paper into an image forming device which allows sheets of paper to be manually fed without becoming jammed. The paper feeding cassette uses one or more corner separators which hold down the corner(s) of the paper in the cassette while a feed roller rotates. The rotation of the feed roller in combination with the corner separators causes one sheet of paper to be removed from the paper cassette. During a manual feed operation in which a user manually feeds a single sheet of paper, a guide plate deflects the manually fed sheet of paper above the corner separators, thus preventing the sheet of paper from becoming jammed under the corner separators.

    摘要: An ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) of the present invention includes a path for conveying a document from a scanning position, reversing the document to switch it back, and again reversing the document to thereby convey it toward a receipt tray positioned below a feed tray. Another path conveys the document away from the scanning position, reverses the document, and then conveys it to the receipt tray. Two path selectors selectively steer the document to either one of the above two paths. In both of a one-side mode and a both-side mode, the document is driven out of the ADF to the same receipt tray. The ADF promotes rapid conveyance and facilitates the removal of a jamming document.
