The door lock apparatus includes a first interface configured to communicate with a plurality of external apparatuses; a near field communicator configured to perform authentication for opening a door; a second interface configured to communicate with a display apparatus; and a controller configured to control the first interface to receive status information on each of the plurality of external apparatuses from the plurality of external apparatuses, control the second interface to transmit the received status information to the display apparatus to be displayed in response to the authentication being performed by the near field communicator.

A function upgrade device, a display apparatus, and a method for controlling a display apparatus are provided. The function upgrade device may include a function unit configured to perform a function in conjunction with the display apparatus, a storage configured to store user information and an application related to the function unit, an interface configured to connect the function upgrade device to the display apparatus and enable the function upgrade device to communicate with the display apparatus, and a controller configured to, when the display apparatus is connected to the function upgrade device through the interface, control the function unit to operate in conjunction with the display apparatus based on the user information and the application stored in the storage.

Provided is a light-emitting diode (LED) driving system. The LED driving system includes an LED current controller, a detector, and a system controller. The LED current controller is configured to control a current flowing through a plurality of LED arrays including at least one LED, such that no current flows through a first LED array from among the plurality of the LED arrays and a current flows through a second LED array from among the plurality of the LED arrays. The detector is configured to detect a sensing voltage from the first LED array. The system controller is configured to determine, based on a comparison result between the sensing voltage and a reference voltage, a failure of the at least one LED included in the second LED array.

An electronic apparatus is provided, which includes a display, a sensor including first and second light emitters which respectively emit first and second light, and a first light receiver which receives light reflected against an object positioned in front of the display, and a processor electrically connected with the display and the sensor and controlling the display based on a distance from the object calculated according to a time period that one of the first and second light is reflected against the object and returned, in which the processor drives the first light emitter and second light emitter such that the first light emitter and second light emitter emit at least a portion of the first and second light to different illumination regions.

Disclosed are a display apparatus and a method for preventing divulgence of image data thereof which may prevent image information including image data photographed by a camera of the display apparatus from being divulged by hacking, etc. The display apparatus includes a camera which captures an image; a display which displays the image thereon based on image data captured by the camera; a communicator which communicates with an outside of the apparatus through an Internet; and a controller which transmits image information including the image data captured by the camera, in the form of a transmission packet including the image data and a detection mark or indicator capable of detecting or indicating that the image data is to be transmitted to the outside, when the image information is to be transmitted to the outside through the communicator.
