摘要: A storage system comprises a storage comprising a nonvolatile storage medium, and a storage control apparatus for inputting/outputting data to/from the storage. The storage control apparatus comprises a memory for storing management information, which is information used in inputting/outputting data to/from the storage, and a control part for controlling access to the storage. The control part stores the management information, which is stored in the memory, in the storage as a base image, and when the management information is updated subsequent to the base image being stored in the storage, creates a journal comprising information related to this update, and stores the journal in the storage as a journal group which is configured from multiple journals.

摘要: A first controller has a first CM area having a plurality of first sub-areas, and a second controller has a second CM area having a plurality of second sub-areas. The first controller stores first data in any of the first sub-areas, and in addition, stores a mirror of the first data (first mirror data) in any of the second sub-areas. The first controller manages a pair (an association relationship) of the storage-destination first sub-area of the first data and the storage-destination second sub-area of the first mirror data. Similarly, the second controller stores second data in any of the second sub-areas, and in addition, stores a mirror of the second data (second mirror data) in any of the first sub-areas. The second controller manages a pair (an association relationship) of the storage-destination second sub-area of the second data and the storage-destination first sub-area of the second mirror data.

摘要: Provided are a motion guide device and a screw device each having a cover for protecting the device against moisture, such as coolant, and powder dust. The motion guide device has a raceway member 11, a moving member main body 21 mounted on the raceway member 11 through a plurality of rolling elements and cap members 22 attached to respective end surfaces of the moving member main body 21 in a relative moving direction. A seal cover 50 is provided having a cover main body 51 that covers each of the cap members 22 and a seal section 55 that is provided between the cover main body 51 and a cap member-side end surface of the moving member main body 21 to stop a gap between the cap member-side end surface of the moving member main body 21 and the cover main body 51. This structure makes it possible to reliably prevent any foreign material, such as powder dust or swarf, and moisture, such as coolant, from getting into the inside of the moving member 20.

摘要: The flash memory controller compresses data in response to a write request. On condition that there is a compression effect with respect to the compressed data, the flash memory controller writes the compressed data to the base area of a physical block of a flash memory. As physical pages assigned to the physical block, the flash memory controller reduces the physical pages assigned to the base area from 102 down to 59, and increases the physical pages assigned to the update area from 26 up to 69. Therefore, it is possible to suppress exhaustion of physical pages which are assigned to the update area, to reduce the number of erases of the physical block, and to consequently prolong device operating life.

摘要: A production method of a carbon fiber precursor fiber and/or a fiber bundle which permits easy bundling of a plurality of small tows into one bundle, with a dividing capability to divide into the original small tows spontaneously at the time of firing, and is suitable for obtaining a carbon fiber that is excellent in productivity and quality. A production method of carbon fiber precursor fiber and/or a fiber bundle that has a degree of intermingle of 1 m−1 or less between small tows, consists of substantially straight fibers without imparted crimp, a tow of which straight fibers has a moisture content of less than 10% by mass when housed in a container, and has a widthwise dividing capability to maintain a form of a single aggregate of tows when housed in a container, taken out from the container and guided into a firing step, and to divide into a plurality of small tows in the firing step by the tension generated in the firing step.
