    摘要: The present invention provides a multi-cylinder engine capable of inhibiting an EGR cooler from being damaged and at the same time making the EGR cooler compact. On the assumption that a direction where a crank shaft spans is taken as a front and rear direction and a widthwise direction of a cylinder head (2) perpendicular to this front and rear direction is deemed as a lateral direction, an intake-air distributing passage wall (3) is attached to one lateral side surface of the cylinder head (2) and an exhaust-gas converging passage wall (4) is attached to the other lateral side of the cylinder head (2), the exhaust-gas converging passage wall (4) having an interior area communicated with an interior area of the intake-air distributing passage wall (3) through the EGR cooler (6). In this multi-cylinder engine, an intake-air inlet pipe (5) is made to stand up at an upper portion of the intake-air distributing passage wall (3) and the EGR cooler (6) spans above the intake-air distributing passage wall (3). Further, the intake-air inlet pipe (5) is arranged side by side with the EGR cooler (6).

The upper support wall has an approximately semi-circular upper support surface for receiving a portion of the shaft upper than the axis thereof, and the lower support wall has an approximately semi-circular lower support surface for receiving a portion of the shaft lower than the axis thereof. The distance between the inner surface of the lower support wall of the first support and the inner surface of the second support is longer than the distance between an end surface at the second support side of the shaft and an end surface at the first support side of the first bevel gear. The distance between the inner surface of the upper support wall of the first support and the inner surface of the second support is shorter than the entire length of the shaft.

    摘要: A power window apparatus that inhibits leakage current when submerged in water. The power window apparatus includes an operation switch. A microcomputer controls a motor. A connector has a down terminal and an up terminal connecting the operation switch and the microcomputer, and a ground terminal used to connect the operation switch and the ground. When operated, the operation switch connects the down terminal or the up terminal to the ground terminal and generates a low-level input signal in the down terminal or in the up terminal. The microcomputer drives the motor in response to the low-level input signal. An inhibition mechanism arranged in the connector inhibits, when water enters into the connector, a leakage current from flowing between a connecting terminal and a ground terminal.
