Abstract: To provide a positive electrode active material in which a phase transition is inhibited and a secondary battery including the positive electrode active material. An unprecedented synthesis method has been developed in which lithium cobalt oxide particles are treated with a molten salt of MgF2—LiF as a reaction accelerator to facilitate the diffusion and doping of magnesium into lithium cobalt oxide bulk and to form a stable coating layer in the particle surface portion. Ex situ XRD analysis confirms the inhibition of the harmful phase transition and the emergence of a novel phase as the modified LiCoO2 is charged up to 4.7 V. The modified LiCoO2 shows high electrochemical performance during high-voltage operation. This technology provides a guideline for suppressing fundamental degradation associated with phase transition and achieving ultra-high energy density LiCoO2 positive electrodes.

Abstract: A system that creates a net list from a circuit diagram or a document showing a circuit structure is provided. The system is an AI system including a first electronic device. The first electronic device includes an input/output interface, a control portion, and a first conversion portion. The input/output interface is electrically connected to the control portion, and the first conversion portion is electrically connected to the control portion. The input/output interface has a function of transmitting input data generated by a user's operation to the control portion, and the control portion has a function of transmitting the input data to the first conversion portion. Note that the input data is a circuit diagram illustrating a circuit structure or a document file showing the circuit structure. The first conversion portion includes a circuit where a neural network is formed, and the input data is converted to a net list with the use of the neural network of the first conversion portion.

In the periphery of the pixel portion in this display device, a pad portion is provided to be electrically connected to a common electrode layer formed on a counter substrate through a conductive layer made of the same material as the pixel electrode layer. One objection of our invention to prevent a defect due to separation of a thin film in various kinds of display devices is realized, by providing a structure suitable for a pad portion provided in a display panel.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display portion, an imaging portion, a control portion, an input portion, and a sensor portion. The display portion has a first display element that reflects visible light and a second display element that emits visible light. The display portion has a function of displaying an image using one of or both first light reflected by the first display element and second light emitted from the second display element. The imaging portion takes an image of an object, the control portion controls the display portion and the imaging portion, the input portion inputs a signal for controlling the display portion and the imaging portion to the control portion, and the sensor portion outputs sensing data to the control portion, in consideration of illuminance of external light. Such a display device increases the display quality, or keeps high-quality display regardless of environmental conditions and reduces power consumption.
