    摘要: In an information sending and receiving system in which an information sending equipment and at least one information receiving equipment send and receive information through a transmission medium, a management message is sent from the information sending equipment to the information receiving equipment thereby to create a list of a content code expressing a data message registered on the information receiving equipment side within the information receiving equipment. Then, a data message containing a content code and data is transmitted from the information sending equipment to the information receiving equipment. The information receiving equipment selects a data message by comparing a content code of a data message and a list of its own content code. The content code list may be created within the information sending equipment based on a property value in an answer message from the information receiving equipment.

    摘要: A map distribution system includes a map distribution server that distributes map data to a navigation device. The server includes a first table having entries that each include update data in correspondence with an ID for the update data and an ID for each other update data upon which the update data depends, a second table having entries that each include an area ID of an area of the map data in correspondence with a version of the area and the ID for each update data that is applied in the version of the area, and an update manager that refers to the second table to select the ID for each update data required for updating an area selected based on input from the navigation device and the required ID for each other update data upon which any update data required for updating the area selected depends.

    摘要: In a remote control apparatus, for achieving remote control of an on-vehicle equipment, in accordance with a request received from a terminal other than the on-vehicle equipment, wherein a request receiver portion 101 receives control content from a stationary-type terminal 301 or a portable-type terminal 302, thereby registering it into a control information DB 105, while corresponding it to ID information of a user thereof. Upon receipt of the ID information from the on-vehicle equipment 20, a control information transmitter portion 102 transmits the control information depending upon the control content, being registered in the control information DB 105 corresponding thereto, to the on-vehicle equipment 20.
