摘要: The honeycomb filter is constructed as a diesel particulate filter having a filtration function for filtering out the particulate matter included in an exhaust emission of a diesel engine. The honeycomb filter has a honeycomb structure as a base and inlet opening cells with surface layers formed on respective inner surfaces thereof. The surface layer has zero film thickness in an inlet peripheral region. Separation vortexes are generated in the inlet peripheral regions. The zero film thickness of the surface layers in the inlet peripheral regions naturally causes non-flaking of the surface layers induced by the separation vortexes generated in the inlet peripheral regions and thereby leads to non-production of flakes. In the non-existent condition of flakes, the overall surface layers are not collapsed by collision of the flakes.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a cell having one open end and another closed end that serves as a fluid flow path and a cell having one closed end and another open end, wherein the cells are alternately disposed. The honeycomb filter includes an undeposited region in an upstream region of a partition portion, which has no trapping layer and has a length of 5% or more and 30% or less of the length of the inlet cell. The upstream region of the partition portion includes an undeposited region having an area of 10% or more of that of the cell in a cross-section perpendicular to the exhaust gas flow direction. The undeposited region with no trapping layer in the upstream region decreases the permeation resistance of the partition portion in the upstream region and facilitates fluid passage through the partition portion in the upstream region.

摘要: A frame image acquiring unit acquires a captured image of an input device that is provided with an illuminator. A device information deriving unit derives position information of the input device from the captured image. An input receiving unit acquires attitude information of the input device. An operation object control unit controls the motion of an operation object in accordance with the position information and the attitude information of the input device. A non-operation object control unit controls the motion of a non-operation object. A collision control unit determines the motion of at least one of the operation object and the non-operation object in accordance with a collision mode for the collision between the operation object and the non-operation object.

摘要: There is provided a honeycomb filter wherein particles having an average particle diameter smaller than the average pore diameter of partition walls are deposited at least in open pores formed in the surface layer of the partition wall and in the pores of the partition wall in a surface layer portion of the partition walls on the exhaust gas inflow side, thereby forming a composite region. The average pore diameter of the partition walls is 5 to 40 μm, and the porosity of the partition wall is 35 to 75%. The particles to be deposited have an average particle diameter of 1 to 15 μm, and the height of the composite region is not more than 80 μm in the direction from the outermost contour line of the partition walls to the surface of the partition walls.

摘要: There is provided a honeycomb structure which is useful as a trapping filter for exhaust gas, especially as a DPF for a diesel engine and capable of effectively inhibiting defects such as a crack due to thermal stress from being generated upon use and regeneration. The honeycomb structure is provided with a honeycomb segment bonded body obtained by unitarily bonding a plurality of honeycomb segments at bonded faces via a bonding material layer and the outer periphery coat layer and has a structure having a plurality of cells functioning as fluid passages disposed in parallel with one another in a direction of a central axis. The honeycomb structure is characterized in that a bonding cross portion where two or more bonding material layers cross has a smaller thermal capacity than those of bonding portions other than the bonding cross portion.

摘要: The honeycomb structure comprising a plurality of columnar honeycomb segments in which two kinds of plural through-holes different in end face area are formed side by side by being surrounded by partition walls, each honeycomb segment having, at one end face, an inlet side of high opening ratio, wherein through-holes of smaller end face area are plugged and, at other end face, an outlet side of low opening ratio and wherein through-holes of larger end face area are plugged, the plurality of honeycomb segments being bonded to each other via a bonding material in the longitudinal direction of each honeycomb segment. The bonded width of the bonding material is larger at the inlet side end face of the honeycomb structure than at the outlet side end face is presented.
