    摘要: Process and device for transferring at least one of a fibrous material web and a strip of the fibrous material web from a moist releasing belt to an accepting belt in a web producing machine that includes a transfer region and a separating region arranged in this order in a web travel direction. The process includes guiding the accepting and releasing belts together at least in the transfer region, separating the accepting belt from the releasing belt in the separating region, and suctioning a surface of the accepting belt opposite a fibrous web and strip carrying surface so that the strip and the fibrous material web are carried by the carrying surface. When the strip is being transferred, the suctioning occurs at least the transfer region, and when an entire width of the fibrous material web is being transferred, the suctioning occurs at least primarily in die separating region. The device includes a transfer region, a separating region arranged downstream of the transfer region in a web travel direction, a releasing belt adapted to carry the strip and the fibrous material web to the transfer region, and an accepting belt adapted to receive the strip and the fibrous material web from the releasing belt in the transfer region. The device also includes at least one movable suction zone extending crosswise to the accepting belt and positioned so that the accepting belt is aided past the at least movable one suction zone. The at least one movable suction zone is positionable between the transfer region and the separating region.

    摘要: The invention provides a roll for a papermaking machine, comprising at least one strip element which extends substantially in the axial direction of the roll and which is supported, substantially against radial forces, by a plurality of supporting elements. The supporting elements comprise adjusting means by means of which a predetermined profile of the bending curve of the strip element can be adjusted in response to a given outer load. When the roll is configured as a shoe press roll, then the strip element may also be directly coupled with the press shoe. It is possible in this way, in the case of shoe press rolls, to ensure safe development of a hydrodynamic lubricating wedge and, in the case of other rolls, to adjust a desired profile of the bending curve of the strip element, under a given outer load.

    摘要: A piston-cylinder arrangement, particularly useful for the press shoe of an extended nip press. The cylinder is a fluid pressure cylinder with a piston, which is fluid pressure reciprocated, disposed in the cylinder chamber. The cylinder and piston are polygonal around their peripheries. A circumferential groove in the cylinder wall carries a plurality of sealing pieces which are urged outwardly of the groove and against the periphery of the piston. The sealing pieces comprise corner pieces disposed at the corners of the polygonal cylinder and second sealing pieces joining the corner pieces. Where the corner and second sealing pieces meet around the periphery of the cylinder, they have overlying, overlapping surfaces that are oriented perpendicular to the reciprocation of the piston. A spring in the groove may urge some of the pieces outwardly toward the piston. Particular beveling or rounding of the slide surfaces of the sealing pieces and a particular thickness of the sealing pieces with respect to the groove are described.

    摘要: The disclosure concerns a press device for a paper making machine, and particularly concerns an extended nip press. A hollow tubular, stationary support body extends around a supporting beam, which is a flexing beam. Hydraulic piston-cylinder combinations extend between the beam and the supporting body in a press plane. A radially non-displaceable press shoe is supported on the support body and faces toward a counter-roll to define a press nip between them. The outwardly facing surface of the press shoe is concave in the circumferential direction of the support body. The amount of pressure in the hydraulic supporting means determines the press force which prevails in the press zone.
