    摘要: An electric power steering apparatus is composed of a wheel gear connected with a steering wheel, a worm shaft tooth-engaged with the wheel gear, and an electric motor rotatably driving the worm shaft in which a worm tooth portion of the worm shaft is formed with a compound lead. Further, the worm shaft is fixed in an axial direction by at least one locknut provided at a portion of a separate side of the electric motor. Further, one end of the worm shaft is rotatably supported through a ball bearing and is fixed by the locknut in the axial direction of the worm shaft, and the other end thereof is rotatably supported through another ball bearing or is fixed by a circlip through a disc-shaped spring in the axial direction. Furthermore, only respective outer rings of the ball bearings are further secured to a housing in which the worm shaft and the wheel gear are disposed.

A variable transmission ratio apparatus includes a strain wave gear mechanism for adding rotation resulting from motor drive to rotation from an input shaft resulting from a steering operation and transmitting the added rotation to an output shaft, a housing accommodating the strain wave gear mechanism and the motor and fixed to a non-rotating portion, and a lock device for locking the housing and a motor shaft in a manner prohibiting relative rotation therebetween. Among the circular splines forming the strain wave gear mechanism, the number of teeth of the circular spline connected to the output shaft is greater than the number of teeth of the circular spline connected to the input shaft.

    摘要: A process for producing an aliphatic polyester includes the steps of: heating a cyclic ester at a melting point or higher to transform the cyclic ester into molten state and convert a moisture contained in the cyclic ester into free carboxylic acid; measuring an amount of the free carboxylic acid in the molten cyclic ester; feeding a proton-source compound in an amount determined based on the measured amount of the free carboxylic acid into the molten cyclic ester; and subjecting the cyclic ester to ring-opening polymerization. The process provides an aliphatic polyester with a desired molecular weight which can be set easily and accurately. An apparatus for the process is also provided.

A prediction signal generator generates a prediction signal for the pixel signal contained in an object region, which is the object of processing, among the plurality of regions, and generates a prediction signal by using a texture synthesis method for forming a texture signal for the object region. A subtracter determines a residual signal between the pixel signal of the object region and the prediction signal, and a transformer and quantizer encode the residual signal to generate a compressed signal.
