摘要: The invention relates to an imaging apparatus (1) for imaging an interior of an object (2). The imaging apparatus (1) comprises a first ultrasound sensor and a second ultrasound sensor for sensing the interior of the object at different frequencies, wherein the ultrasound sensing signals from the first ultrasound sensor are used for generating a first ultrasound image and a the ultrasound sensing signals from the second ultrasound sensor are used for generating a second ultrasound image. A larger frequency generally provides a smaller depth of penetrating the interior of the object and a larger spatial resolution than a smaller frequency. The imaging apparatus (1) can therefore provide the capability of simultaneously imaging the interior of the object with different spatial resolutions and at different penetration depths. This allows the imaging apparatus to improve the quality of imaging the interior of the object.

摘要: A method of analyzing a tube system in particular by image processing of images of the tube system is provided by the present invention. In order to achieve a simulation of a medium flow through a calculated tube model, the present invention gathers a tube model from a specific tube data set. By defining the necessary parameters of a virtual injection of the medium by the user, the medium flows through the model. Using this displayed simulation for generating at least two images leads to an artificial image sequence that might support a person, which wants to examine a real structure, that corresponds to the calculated model. This might be seen in.

摘要: The invention relates to a light-emitting apparatus (100) comprising an optical waveguide, particularly an optical fiber (1), for guiding a primary light beam (Bprim) into a light-splitting unit (101) which splits it into two or more partial light beams (B1, B3, B4) which are emitted in different directions and have different optical qualities, e.g. different spectral compositions or polarizations. The apparatus may optionally comprise a detector (4) for determining a Doppler shift (Δλi) in reflected light reentering the light-splitting unit (101). This renders it possible to measure simultaneously two or more spatially independent vector components of the flow velocity of a fluid, particularly of blood, surrounding the light-splitting unit (101).

The system includes an X ray device for providing an X ray image of a patient's interior, and a camera responsive to a wavelength for providing a camera image of a patient's exterior. The camera may be supported by the X ray device for establishing a determined spatial relationship between the camera and the X ray device. The system further includes a spatial reference for spatially correlating the X ray image and the camera image, where the spatial reference is detectable in the X ray image and in the camera image. A data processor configured for rendering the camera image and the X ray image into a composite image on the basis of the spatial reference.

摘要: The present invention relates to the determination of brain deformation. The invention relates in particular to a device for tracking brain deformation, an imaging system for tracking brain deformation, a method for tracking brain deformation, a method of operating a device for tracking brain deformation, as well as to a computer program element and a computer readable medium. For providing enhanced information about the brain deformation, a first 3D representation (112) of a cerebrovascular vessel structure of a region of interest of an object is provided (110) and (114) a second 3D representation (116) of the cerebrovascular vessel structure. Then, at least a part of the first 3D representation is elastically three dimensionally registered (118) with at least a part of the second 3D representation. A deformation field (122) of the cerebrovascular vessel structure is determined (120) based on the elastic registration. The determined vessel deformation is applied (124) to a brain structure representation to determine a deformation (126) of the cerebral structure. For example, planning data (130) for an intervention of the cerebral structure is provided (132) and the determined deformation of the cerebral structure is applied (134) to the planning data to generate deformation adjusted planning data (136).
