摘要： A coloring material comprising a solution of an alcohol-soluble resin having a sulfonic acid group or a salt thereof, which is dyed with a basic dye, in a solvent comprising an alcohol as a main component. The coloring material is prepared either by (a) polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or a salt thereof in water and adding a basic dye to the obtained aqueous liquid of the formed polymer or (b) carrying out said polymerization in the presence of a basic dye, and dissolving (i) the obtained aqueous liquid of the formed colored polymer of (ii) a colored polymer obtained by removing water from the obtained aqueous liquid of the formed colored polymer in a solvent comprising an alcohol as a main component; or, (a') carrying out said polymerization in a solvent comprising an alcohol as a main component and then adding a basic dye to the obtained polymer solution, or (b') carrying out said polymerization in the presence of a basic dye.

摘要： An aqueous colored polymer is provided, which comprises (a) a homopolymer of an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt or (b) a copolymer of an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt with other ethylenically unsaturated monomer, said homopolymer or copolymer being dyed with a basic dye and having a lowest film-forming temperature of not higher than 35.degree. C. The aqueous colored polymer is prepared by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or its salt, or its mixture with other ethylenically unsaturated monomer by an aqueous solution or emulsion polymerization procedure at a temperature of not higher than 100.degree. C. in a specified amount of water and then adding a basic dye to the resulting polymer solution or emulsion, or carrying out this solution or emulsion polymerization in the presence of a basic dye. The aqueous polymer is useful as an aqueous ink such as an ink for the ink jet recording.

An integrated search processing device holds definition information obtained by defining: information used for accessing the WWW servers and databases, and schema information on data held therein. The integrated search processing device uses the definition information to provide: a table selection screen which allows selection of tables to be searched; a search condition input screen used for inputting a search condition for the tables selected through the table selection screen; and a result screen which displays a result of search processing performed based on information inputted through the search condition input screen and the definition information, thereby defining respective operations of the integrated search processing device.

摘要： A heat-sensitive stencil having a thermoplastic resin film, and a porous resin layer formed thereon. The stencil has an air permeability in the range of 1.0 cm.sup.3 /cm.sup.2 .multidot.sec to 157 cm.sup.3 /cm.sup.2 .multidot.sec in a portion thereof when the thermoplastic resin film of the portion is perforated to form perforations providing an open ratio S.sub.O /S.sub.P of at least 0.2, wherein S.sub.O represents a total area of the perforations and S.sub.P represents the area of the portion. The heat-sensitive stencil is prepared by applying a coating liquid containing the resin of the porous resin layer to the thermoplastic resin film and drying the coating. The coating liquid contains a mixture of a good solvent and a poor solvent less vaporizable than the good solvent so that the porous resin layer is formed after drying.
