摘要: A resonant frequency characteristic tag has a thin dielectric film made of a polymer such as polyethylene, and a pair of resonant frequency characteristic circuits each formed on each side of the thin dielectric film, made of a metal foil and having a particular resonant frequency, the two resonant frequency characteristic circuits have terminal sections short-circuited to one another. A release paper is applied by a pressure sensitive adhesive to the surface of one of the two resonant frequency characteristic circuits, and a through hole or opening(s) with a diameter in a range between 0.5 and 3 mm is formed at an electrode plate in a capacitor section of the circuit. The distance between the two electrode plates is adjusted to a predetermined dimension by heating and pressing a portion at the periphery of the through hole or opening(s) with a suitable tool.

摘要: A resonant frequency characteristic tag is disclosed, which comprises an electrically insulating thin film having an electric characteristic, an electric circuit consisting of a metal foil formed on one side surface of the thin film and having a predetermined length and having opposite end portions respectively formed with a capacitor section and a terminal section, the capacitor section having a piercedly formed hole extending from the side of the metal foil to the other side surface of the thin film, the metal foil being deformed in the formation of the hole into a burr-like portion extending toward the other side surface of the thin film, and an electrode metal foil formed on the other side surface of the thin film and having a size capable of containing the hole, the electrode metal foil being laminated to the other side surface of the thin film with an electrically insulating adhesive having a dielectric characteristic such that the free end of the burr-like portion and the electrode metal foil is spaced apart a predetermined distance, the terminal section of the electric circuit being electrically connected to the electrode metal foil to form a resonant circuit; and a method for manufacturing the resonant frequency characteristic tag is also disclosed.

摘要: A resonant tag is manufactured in the manner described below: a conductive thin film is formed to a predetermined thickness on two surfaces of an insulating thin film. Thereafter, a conductive pattern, composed of an inductor element and a capacitor element corresponding to a resonant frequency of a resonant circuit, is printed on a surface of one of the conductive thin films, and a conductive pattern, composed of a capacitor element corresponding to the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit, is printed on a surface of the other insulating thin film at a position which faces the capacitor element formed on one of the conductive thin films using an ink which resists etching. A non-printed portion of the conductive thin films is removed by etching to form a resonant circuit pattern. Thereafter, a portion of the insulating thin film, which corresponds to the capacitor element pattern, is thinned to a desired thickness by pressing a heating/pressing member heated to a predetermined temperature against that portion under a predetermined pressure for a predetermined period of time.

摘要: A resonant tag has one electrode plate of a capacitor and an electric circuit, which is electrically connected to the capacitor, formed on one surface of the insulating film composing the resonant circuit. On the other surface of the insulating film, the other electrode plate of the capacitor, which is electrically connected to the electric circuit, is formed. Heat pressing is performed on the insulating film existing between the two electrode plates with a predetermined pressure and at a predetermined temperature to shorten a distance between these electrode plates, and a crystal structure of the insulating film is destroyed to form a penetrating hole which penetrates through both the electrode plates.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a resonant tag on which at least two resonant circuits having different resonant frequencies are formed so as to enable the tag to be identified, the method including coating a conductive thin film on two surfaces of an insulating thin film, printing a plurality of first conductive patterns on a surface of one of the conductive thin films and a corresponding plurality of second conductive patterns on a surface of the other conductive thin film using an anti-etching ink, each of the first conductive patterns and an opposite one of the second conductive patterns defining a separate and distinct resonant circuit, each of the first and second conductive patterns respectively containing one element of a capacitor which corresponds to a distinct resonant frequency of a separate resonant circuit and another element of the capacitor which corresponds to the distinct resonant frequency of the separate resonant circuit, etching the conductive thin films to remove non-printed portion of the conductive films, and forming LC resonant circuits by selectively electrically connecting the one and the other capacitor elements of at least two of the first conductive and second conductive patterns.

摘要: A resonant tag carries a plurality of resonant circuits having different resonant frequencies. The resonant circuit is composed of a first conductive pattern formed by a conductive metal foil on one surface of an insulating thin film and a second conductive pattern formed by a conductive metal foil on the other surface of the insulating thin film. The first conductive pattern contains an inductor element and an element of the capacitor, which correspond to a resonant frequency of the resonant circuit. The second conductive pattern contains the other element of the capacitor element. The capacitor element of the second conductive pattern, which corresponds to the resonant frequency, is disposed at a position where it faces the capacitor element of the first conductive pattern formed on one surface of the insulating thin film. When the resonant tag is used, the conductive metal foils formed on the two surfaces of the insulating synthetic resin film are electrically connected so as to turn off part of the resonant circuits, so that the resonant tag can be identified by a combination of resonant frequencies inherent in the remaining resonant circuits. For example, n (two or more) resonant circuits having different resonant frequencies may be formed on a resonant tag so that the tag can be identified in 2.sup.n -1 (or 2.sup.n) different ways.

摘要: A crystal resonator comprises a first vibrating region provided on a crystal wafer, a second vibrating region provided on the crystal wafer, the second vibrating region having a different thickness and positive/negative orientation of the X-axis from those of the first vibrating region, and excitation electrodes which are provided respectively on the first vibrating region and the second vibrating region for causing the vibrating regions to vibrate independently. Frequencies that change by different amounts from each other relative to a temperature change can be retrieved from one vibrating region and the other vibrating region. Thus, based on an oscillating frequency of the vibrating region in which a clear frequency change occurs relative to the temperature, the oscillating frequency of the other vibrating region can be controlled. Thereby, increases in the complexity of the crystal oscillator can be suppressed.
