    摘要: A power output apparatus (100) includes an engine (102), a double-pinion planetary gear (110), a first motor (MG1), and a second motor (MG2). A ring gear (114), a planetary carrier (126), and a sun gear (112) of the double-pinion planetary gear (110) are respectively linked with a crankshaft (104) of the engine (102), a drive shaft (108), and the first motor (MG1). The engine (102), the second motor (MG2), the double-pinion planetary gear (110), and the first motor (MG1) are arranged sequentially along an axis running from the front to the rear of a vehicle. The second motor (MG2) is required to output a greater torque than that of the first motor (MG1) and accordingly has a larger size. The second motor (MG2) is, however, disposed closer to the engine (102) and thereby has a sufficient margin in the diametral direction. This configuration reduces the size of the whole power output apparatus (100).

    摘要: A hydraulic control apparatus for a power transmitting system for an automotive vehicle having a continuously variable transmission which has a first and a second shaft, a pair of variable-diameter pulleys provided on the first and second shafts, a belt connecting the pulleys, and a pair of hydraulic actuators for changing diameters of the pulleys, wherein a tension of the belt is controlled by regulating an actuating pressure in a driven side actuator of the hydraulic actuators which is provided on a driven one of the two shafts. The apparatus includes a pressure regulating valve which has a valve spool for regulating the actuating pressure in the driven side actuator, and a pressure-reducing chamber for receiving a pressure-reducing pilot pressure for biasing the spool for reducing the actuating pressure. The apparatus further includes a pilot pressure generator for generating the pressure-reducing pilot pressure to be applied to the pressure-reducing chamber, when the detected vehicle running speed exceeds a predetermined value.

    摘要: A planetary gear transmission having a sun gear and a ring gear, planetary gears engaging the sun and ring gears, a carrier having a radial flange and carrier pins fixed to the flange to rotatably support the planetary gears, and a first and a second gear rotatable with the carrier and engaging each other. At least one lubricant passage is formed so as to extend through the flange. Each passage communicates with the corresponding planetary gears and has an open end open in one of the opposite surfaces on the side of the external toothed portion of the first gear. An annular lubricant receiver is disposed coaxially with the carrier, for receiving a lubricant which is fed from a meshing point of the first and second gears in the axial direction from the first gear toward the planetary gears. The receiver is adapted to direct the lubricant to the open end of each lubricant passage, for lubricating the corresponding planetary gear.

    摘要: The brake B1 is engaged by supply of fluid pressure when the transmission provides the 2nd speed stage, while the brake B2 is engaged by supply of fluid pressure when the transmission provides the 1st speed stage with engine braking. The brakes B1 and B2 should not be co-engaged. A second speed holding valve 216 is provided to conduct therethrough the line pressure transmitted through ports 190 and 194 of the 1-2 shift valve 184 toward the brake B1 when the 2-range detent pressure from the manual valve 46 is not supplied at its port 224 or the 2-range detent pressure is supplied at its port 224 but the L-range detent fluid pressure from the manual valve 46 is also supplied at its port 236 so that its spool 234 is ascended by the spring, and to conduct through the ports 232 and 222when the spool 234 is descended by supply of only the 2-range detent pressure at its port 224, the line pressure transmitted through ports 226 and 228 of the shift valve 220 which supplies fluid pressure to the brake B2 when the L-range detent pressure is supplied at its port 204. Coengagement of the brakes B1 and B2 in L-range due to sticking of the spool 234 at the descended position is avoided by intercepting the supply of fluid pressure to the brake B1 at the ports 226 and 228 which are separated by the spool 212 descended in L-range.
