摘要: A beamforming method is disclosed of a multi-antenna transmitter configured for operation in a listen-before-talk (LBT) environment.
The method comprises transmitting—in transmission resources of a collection of one or more transmission resources corresponding to an LBT sensing event—according to a primary emission pattern (e.g., a primary beam) having a main lobe in a primary angular direction associated with a channel path towards an intended receiver, and transmitting according to one or more secondary emission patterns. The one or more secondary emission patterns—when accumulated over the collection of transmission resources corresponding to the LBT sensing event—are configured to indicate channel occupancy in angular directions other than the primary angular direction.
In some embodiments, the one or more secondary emission patterns comprises a plurality of secondary emission patterns (e.g., a plurality of secondary beams). Transmitting according to the one or more secondary emission patterns may comprise executing a sweep of the respective secondary beams over the collection of transmission resources corresponding to the LBT sensing event.
In some embodiments, the one or more secondary emission patterns consists of a single secondary emission pattern (e.g., an omni-directional emission pattern).
Corresponding apparatus, transmitter, network node, wireless communication device, and computer program product are also disclosed.-

摘要: A wireless communication device and method therein for handling connection state changes in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The wireless communication device comprises at least two SIMs, in which a first SIM is in a first original connection state towards a first network node, a second SIM is in a second original connection state towards a second network node. The wireless communication device first determines whether a battery power in the wireless communication device is below a first threshold. When the battery power is below the first threshold, the wireless communication device selects a SIM out of the at least two SIMs for which to change its original connection state to a third connection state based on a parameter. The third connection state is a connection state implying lower power consumption for the wireless communication device compared to its original connection state. Then the wireless communication device performs a connection state change for the selected SIM from its original connection state to the third connection state.

摘要: A method of over-the-air beamforming calibration is disclosed for a multi-antenna transceiver having a first plurality of antenna elements connected to respective transceiver chains. Beamforming calibration comprises determining respective beamforming calibration factors for the transceiver chains of the antenna elements of the first plurality. The method comprises determining a second plurality of measurement resources for calibration sounding, wherein the second plurality is smaller than the first plurality. The method also comprises (for each measurement resource of the second plurality) selecting one or more antenna elements of the first plurality for sounding signal transmission, wherein each antenna element of the first plurality is selected for one or more of the measurement resources of the second plurality. The method also comprises (using each measurement resource of the second plurality) overlappingly transmitting respective sounding signals by the selected one or more antenna elements. Corresponding apparatus, multi-antenna transceiver, wireless communication device and computer program product are also disclosed.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a radio device 4 connected to a communication network 1 comprising a core network (CN) and a Radio Access Network (RAN), where there is a communication bearer between the radio device and the CN via the RAN comprising a radio bearer between the radio device and a RAN node of the RAN, for adapting a Quality of Service (QoS) of the communication bearer. The method comprises, to the CN, sending a request for a first QoS to be associated with the communication bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the first QoS of the communication bearer. The method also comprises, to the RAN, sending an indication that a second QoS, lower than the first QoS, should be used for the radio bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the second QoS.
