摘要: Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) operating in a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving a resource allocation to transmit or receive data in the RAN. The resource allocation includes resources during a plurality of occasions. Such methods include subsequently receiving one or more indications of whether the UE is allowed to transmit or receive during the occasions. Each particular indication is associated with a consecutive subset of the occasions subsequent to the particular indication. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a RAN node, as well as UEs and RAN nodes configured to perform such methods.

摘要: Embodiments include methods for notifying of changes to an access network's (AN) compliance with a QoS requirement for a data flow between an application server and an application associated with a user equipment served by the AN. Such embodiments include receiving, from a core network (CN), a first safeguard time associated with the QoS requirement and representing an amount of time required, prior to AN non-compliance with the QoS requirement, to adapt the application for safe operation during the AN non-compliance. Embodiments also include determining that, at approximately a first instance in the future, the AN is likely to be non-compliant with the QoS requirement; and sending, to the CN, a first notification indicating a likelihood of future AN non-compliance with the QoS requirement. The first notification is sent at least the first safeguard time before the first instance. Embodiments include complementary methods performed by CNs and application servers.

摘要: A V2X UE (e.g., wireless device) that includes a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) application enabler (VAE) client and a V2X application-specific client associated with a V2X application, where the V2X UE is connected with a V2X application server is enabled to receive notifications of conditions occurring in a wireless network that connects them. The V2X application-specific client in the UE performing a registration with the V2X application server for receiving notifications. The registration comprises one or more conditions monitored by a network function (NF) in the wireless network. For example, the condition can be related to QoS provided by the network in a particular geographic area and/or in a particular time window, where the NF can be a network data and analytics function (NWDAF). The VAE client receives from the VAE server the notifications. The VAE client can receive a notification of a particular occurrence of the condition after the NF monitoring detects the occurrence.

摘要: A method by a network node controls connectivity of UEs by identifying a group of UEs for communication with an application controlling parameters used by the UEs for operation in a vehicle platoon. The method controls connectivity for a UE in the group with a RAN node responsive to characteristics of the other UEs in the group. For each of the UEs the characteristic relates to functional operation of the UE with the application. Another method by an application server identifies the group of UEs, and identifies a characteristic of each of the UEs with the application. A message identifying the group of UEs and their characteristics is communicated to a network node for controlling connectivity for individual UEs in the group with a RAN node responsive to the characteristics of the other UEs in the group.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for buffer state report. A method performed at a terminal device may comprise: determining a time duration, wherein a buffer size associated with data to be transmitted during the time duration is to be predicted by the terminal device; predicting the buffer size; and transmitting a scheduling request or a buffer state report indicating the predicted buffer size to a network node. A method performed at a network node may comprise: receiving a scheduling request or a buffer state report indicating a predicted buffer size associated with data to be received during a time duration from a terminal device; and transmitting a grant for the data according to the received scheduling request or buffer state report. The latency of data transmission from the terminal device to the network node may be reduced.
