The invention provides a reaction container used for a nucleic acid amplification reaction, which includes a sample holding portion formed from a cavity in the reaction container; and a heating element for heating a sample which contains a nucleic acid and which is held in the sample holding portion, wherein the heating element is made of a conductive material and arranged at a location where the sample or the sample and the periphery of the cavity is (are) to be locally heated, the conductive material generating heat by electromagnetic induction.

    摘要: The present invention provides a blood processing apparatus that can introduce a metered quantity of a blood sample into a chamber and does not require an opening linked to the chamber to be closed after the introduction of the blood sample. An introducing chamber, an injection port, and an air port are formed in a rotatable platform of a blood processing apparatus. The injection port links the introducing chamber with the outside of the rotatable platform. A blood sample is introduced from the injection port into the introducing chamber. A blood coagulant is held on the port wall surface of the air port and/or around a portion of the surface of the rotatable platform where the air port is open.

    摘要: According to the present invention, an inorganic phosphoric acid is detected by a method which includes: subjecting a sample to a measurement system containing glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate, oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide or oxidized nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate, glyceraldehyde phosphate dehydrogenase, and an electron mediator; and measuring a current value in the measurement system. In the method, a pyrophosphate is quantitatively measured with high sensitivity and at a high speed through converting the pyrophosphate in a sample into an inorganic phosphoric acid. Such a measurement of a pyrophosphate allows for quantitative determination of the pyrophosphate which is produced concurrent with the extension of a DNA, thereby enabling the detection of the presence of a targeted nucleic acid, and typing of a base in a SNP site of a targeted DNA.
