    摘要: When performing supply and measurement of various signals on n=8 semiconductor IC devices under test DUT1-DUT8 using m=3 substrates 10-30, reference voltages of the devices under test DUT1-DUT3 are input to the substrate 10, reference voltages of the devices under test DUT4-DUT6 are input to the substrate 20, and reference voltages of the devices under test DUT7 and 8 are input to the substrate 30. The reference voltages input to each substrate 10-30 are averaged. The mean voltages made in each substrate are further connected to each other, and a reference voltage is made using three substrates 10-30. The reference voltage is used as a reference voltage for voltage generating circuits 11-31. The reference voltage having no variation among each substrate is set even if the number of semiconductor IC devices under test is increased and the whole equipment becomes large.

    摘要: An image projector has a lamp unit 23 having a high-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp 21 and a parabolic mirror 22. To the high-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp 21, a driving system 24 applies an alternating voltage such that wandering of a cathode luminescent spot generated in the vicinity of a tip of each of the discharge electrodes of the high-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamp 21 is suppressed, the frequency being within the range of 20-42 kHz. This construction allows to prevent flicker in a projected image of a liquid crystal projector and the like, and therefore achieves high quality in the projected image.

    摘要: A thin cartridge to which a connector of the present invention is applied has an insertion space therein which is open through an opening formed on an end face of a frame thereof. A printed circuit board having terminals patterned on an edge surface portion thereof is provided on one of surfaces defining the insertion space. The connector includes an engagement wall to be inserted into the frame as a single component for engagement with the frame of the cartridge. The engagement wall has first and second opposite faces exposed to the outside. Arrangement of contact members retained in retention grooves formed in the first face can be viewed from the side opposed to the first face.

Particularly, a layer of optical element for polarizing separation of light extends over an undulated surface of a substrate having a cross section of either trapezoid-waveform or triangle-waveform oriented in a particular direction. The substrate having a trapezoid-waveform surface incorporates layers of optical element for reflection or absorption of light which are provided on the upper- and lower-base regions, excluding the sloping regions, of the trapezoid-waveform surface. On the other hand, the substrate having a triangle-waveform surface incorporates layers of optical element for absorption of light which are provided on the upper and lower peak regions of the triangle-waveform surface.

    摘要: An anti-reflection film to be used for a plastic optical component is excellent in adhesion, durability and optical characteristic as well as be suited for mass-production. The anti-reflection film is a three-layered structure comprising, from the surface of the optical component on which it is formed, a first layer and a second layer which are made of a same dielectric material and a third layer which is a different dielectric material therefrom. Oxygen is introduced when the first layer is formed in order to provide the first layer smaller in refractive index than the second layer. The first and second layers are each made of any of cerium oxide, tantalum pentoxide and hafnium oxide and the third layer is made of silicon dioxide.
