摘要: Producing a metal composite material by mixing hydrated ceramic particles, having water of crystallization that is bound within fine pores which have an average pore diameter of 1 nm or more and 80 nm or less, with a reinforcing material, the resulting mixture being sintered to form a preform which is then impregnated with a melt of an aluminum alloy and subjected to surface polishing. The ceramic particles, from which water of crystallization has been removed while the average pore diameter of the pores thereof is maintained, are dispersed uniformly, it is possible to obtain the metal composite material in which the ceramic particles that have fine pores are exposed on surfaces evenly in a stable manner by surface polishing that is conducted after the melt impregnation. The metal composite material can permit infiltration of a lubricating oil into the fine pores.

摘要: A component presence/absence judging apparatus judges the presence/absence of a component through a registration step and an inspection step. The registration step comprises an ante-mounting color information acquisition step, a post-mounting color information acquisition step and an inspection area determination step. Ante-mounting color information is acquired from an ante-mounting image taken at a predetermined portion on an ante-mounting board. Post-mounting color information is acquired from a post-mounting image taken at the predetermined portion on a post-mounting board. Then, a section having a large difference between both color information of the ante-mounting image and the post-mounting image is identified and is determined as an inspection area. At the inspection step, the presence/absence of the component at a predetermined place on each inspection board to be inspected is judged in dependence on the color information on the determined inspection area.

摘要: The invention provides a molding die in which a whole or a part of an exclusive portion forming a cavity can be swiftly changed while leaving a general portion in a molding machine. A fixed insert, a movable insert, a pressing plate and a slide core which correspond to an exclusive portion can be automatically attached to and detached from a fixed main die, a movable main die, a pressing rod and a slide holder which correspond to a general portion by an attaching and detaching mechanism. Further, the fixed insert, the movable insert, the pressing plate and the slide core can be integrated in a die close state by a connection mechanism. By utilizing cross-feed means of a die changing apparatus and a die opening and closing motion on a molding machine side, the exclusive portion is automatically removed from the general portion in a form of an assembly, and the exclusive portion assembly which is transferred into the molding machine from outside the molding machine is automatically mounted to the general portion.

摘要: A method for engraving and/or etching comprising the steps of: (a) a process for exposing, to light, a layer of a water-soluble resin composition of a laminated photo-sensitive film which comprises a supporting sheet, a image mask-protection layer peelablly adhered to the supporting sheet and a layer of a water-soluble resin composition having photocrosslinkability to thus cause crosslinking of the exposed area of the resin layer to thereby form a predetermined pattern on the resin layer; (b) a process for dissolving out the non-crosslinked portion of the layer of the water-soluble photo-sensitive resin composition by developing the layer with water to thus from an image-carrying mask which is constituted from the crosslinked area of the photo-sensitive resin composition remaining on the image mask-protection layer; (c) a process for adhering the photo-sensitive laminate film on which the images are formed to the surface of a material to be processed; (d) a process for peeling off the supporting sheet from the photo-sensitive laminate film; and (e) a process for engraving and/or etching the material to be processed through the image-carrying mask adhered to the material, makes it possible to engrave and/or etch fine and precises images on the surface of a material to be processed such as glass, metals, plastics or the like.

摘要: A numerical control apparatus for machining non-circular workpieces such as a cam and the like has been disclosed. The cam and the like are used in changing the operation from rotational to linear motion. In designing the shape of the cam and the like, lift data prescribing the relationship between the rotational and linear motions is used. The lift data is given by the position sequence on the linear motion corresponding to a number of discrete rotational angles. Also, the tolerance of the positions is given from a functional aspect. The lift data is converted into profile data prescribing the shape of the cam and the like after being smoothed within the tolerance by a regression analysis, and machining of the non-circular workpieces is effected according to the profile data.
