    摘要: N-Methyl-N-trimethylsilyl trifluoroacetamide can be synthesized by the reaction of N-methyl trifluoroacetamide and, N,O-bis(trimethylsilyl) acetamide at 40.degree.-130.degree. C. followed by fractionating distillation. The method is advantageous in respect of the absence of the step of filtration for the removal of the by-product salt and non-use of any corrosive reactant in comparison with conventional methods.

    摘要: In an audiovisual system in which a source device and a television are connected via an AV amplifier, even when the AV amplifier is placed in a “Power Supply Standby State”, video/audio signals outputted from the source device can be viewed/listened to on the television without changing the wiring connections between the devices.An AV amplifier (100) is provided with a data storing means (106) used for indicating a signal reproduction ability to a source device (200). During a “Power Supply Standby State” of the AV amplifier (100), the content of data that is saved in the data storing means (106) and indicates an audio signal reproduction ability is rewritten into data that indicates not the reproduction ability of the AV amplifier (100), but the signal reproduction ability of a television (300), thereby producing a state that is equivalent to a state in which the source device (200) and the television (300) are directly connected.

    摘要: An organosilicon compound represented by the following general formula (1): wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a phenyl group or a halogenated phenyl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R3's are each a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; X is a hydrolyzable group; Z1 is —R4—, —R4O— or —R4(CH3)2SiO—, where R4 is a substituted or unsubstituted divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; Z2 is an oxygen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and m is 0, 1 or 2 and n is 0, 1 or 2. When incorporated in silicone compositions, the organosilicon compound acts as a cross-linking agent having well-balanced photopolymerizability and condensation curability.

    摘要: This invention provides a primer composition comprising (A) a polyorganosiloxane resin containing at least 0.01 mole of hydroxyl groups per 100 g of the resin represented by the average composition formula: (R.sup.1).sub.a SiO.sub.(4-a)/2 wherein each R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and a is a value of 0.4 to 1.8; (B) an alkoxytitanium or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof; (C) an acid; and (D) a solvent. The primer composition can strongly adhere a condensation type room temperature curable silicone elastomer to the surface of the coated metal formed by applying a fluororesin coating, an acrylic resin coating or the like to a metal.

    摘要: Silicone compositions comprising an organopolysiloxane composition and an organic compound capable of coordination with metals are described. Since the organic compound is preferentially adsorbed on a metal surface, the composition is particularly suitable for use in electric or electronic parts to prevent contact failure. A more specific embodiment comprises a diorganopolysiloxane of the average unit formula, R.sub.a SiO.sub.(4-a)/2, wherein each R independently represents an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and a is a value of from 1.90 to 2.05, a filler, an alkoxysilane or its hydrolyzate, a silylation catalyst made of an organic silicon compound having at least one specific type of group, an organic tin compound, another organosilicon compound capable of reaction with an alcohol in order to stabilize the composition, and an organic compound capable of coordination with metals.
