Abstract:
A rotary actuator that can be used in conjunction with drive stabilizers for motor vehicles. The rotary actuator includes an outer body forming a gas-tight connection for a first element capable of being turned opposite from a second element, and an inner body coaxial with the outer body and covered by the outer body axially over a full length of the inner body. The inner body and the outer body define an annular space and turn axially in opposite directions, the inner body forming a gas-tight connection for a second element. A sleeve is disposed in the annular space and includes an annular piston and a bushing axially connected to the annular piston, the annular piston moving on cylindrical surfaces of the inner body and the outer body. The annular piston defines two working chambers capable of being acted upon by pressure. The bushing includes oppositely-angles helical teeth on a radially inner on radial inner and outer sides which engage on the inner body and the outer body. The rotary acutuator has an especially compact design with favorable force uptake and advantageous assembly requirements.

An arrangement for vertically adjustably supporting an individual wheel carrier disposed by way of control arms or an axle beam on the body of a motor vehicle. An actuator is fastened on the vehicle body, constructed as a hydraulic motor with at least one pressure space. The actuator has a swivellable actuating shaft which acts upon the wheel carrier, its control arms or the axle beam, by way of a linkage which contains at least one lever arm. The lever arm, upon which the hydraulic actuator acts directly, is designed as a mechanical spring. Also, at least one loaded pressure space of the actuator is hydraulically connected by way of at least one return valve, with a less loaded or unloaded pressure space or a return flow. As an alternative or in addition to the return valve, the loaded pressure space can be connected to a hydraulic accumulator.

In an apparatus for the height-adjustable support of a vehicle body wherein each wheel suspension includes a control device with a piston and cylinder unit to which fluid under pressure is supplied, each piston and cylinder unit includes a hollow piston rod with a cylindrical wall having a flange rigidly connected to the vehicle body, a cylinder extending over the piston rod and having a spring carrier formed at its end on which a vehicle support spring is seated and which is movable along the piston rod when pressurized fluid is admitted to the interior of the piston rod for height-adjustment of the vehicle body.

For a pivot motor with frame-like sealing elements which are situated in grooves of its vanes, the invention proposes a design in which the frame has an encircling channel which faces its interior and in which an inner sealing insert engages by means of its periphery.

A driving stabilizer has a rotary actuator located between spider parts supporting stabilizer arms. Flanges associated with the spider parts and supported by the spider parts form end covers of the rotary actuator. A central part adjacent to the flanges includes an outer body formed by an annular jacket spanning a gap between the flanges and an inner body. The outer body and inner body are mutually rotatable and axially secured with respect to one another and each non-rotatably connected to a respective one of the spider parts via a respective one of the flanges.

A stabilizer arrangement for a motor vehicle for coupling two wheels of a vehicle axle line includes a first stabilizer part assigned to one wheel and a second stabilizer part assigned to the other wheel. An actuator couples the stabilizer parts and makes possible a pretensioning of the stabilizer parts. The first stabilizer part is connected non-rotationally with a first actuator connection and the second stabilizer part is connected non-rotationally with a second actuator connection. In order to provide stabilizer arrangements which can be used within the scope of large-scale production, at least one of the stabilizer parts is connected either directly with the associated actuator connection by a self-welded connection, such as friction welded connection or a laser welded connection, or is connected indirectly with the associated actuator connection over a coupling element, connected non-rotationally with the stabilizer part.

An adjustable strut (1) for motor vehicles. It includes a dashpot that comprises a piston accommodated in a shock-absorbing cylinder (2) accommodated in a helical spring (7). The piston divides the shock-absorbing cylinder into two chambers and is attached to a rod (8). The rod extends out of the shock-absorbing cylinder through an alignment-and-sealing package at one end. The rod is articulated to the wheel mass or carriagework at one end and the shock-absorbing cylinder to the complementary component at the other end. The helical spring is secured and tensioned between two cup springs. The first cup spring (5) is attached to the shock-absorbing cylinder by two height-adjustment cylinders that surround the latter concentrically. One height-adjustment cylinder slides in and out inside the other. The second cup spring (6) is attached to the piston rod in the vicinity of its articulation to the wheel mass or carriagework.
