摘要: Curable unsaturated polyester resin compositions from which molded products with superior surface smoothness can be obtained include a block copolymer of a specified form, an unsaturated polyester, a vinyl monomer, a filler, a curing catalyst and a reinforcing fiber. The block copolymer is of the form A--(B).sub.n where A is non-hydrogenated polyisoprene block having viscosity average molecular weight of 10000 or more, B is saturated polyester block obtainable by condensation of organic dicarboxylic anhydride and 1,2-epoxide, more than 50 mol % of terminal groups of the polyester block being carboxylic acid group, A and B are connected by ester linkage and n is not less than 2. Block copolymers of this type can be formed by starting with carboxylic acid or hydroxyl group in polyisoprene and by alternate condensation of organic dicarboxylic anhydride and 1,2-epoxide.

摘要: An ultra high-strength hydraulic cement composition contains a binder, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, an antifoaming agent, water and a specified admixture and has a unit amount of the binder in the range of 480-1800kg/m3. Water and the binder are contained at a ratio of 10-25% and the admixture is contained in the amount of 0.2-3.5 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the binder. The binder may be cement or a mixture of cement and a microscopic powder admixture. The admixture is one or more selected from reaction mixtures obtained by specified two processes and partially or completely neutralized substances obtained from such a reaction mixture through these two processes and also a specified third process. The specified two processes include initiating a radical copolymerization process of a radical polymerizable monomer mixture containing maleic anhydride and a monomer of a specified kind in a non-aqueous system in the presence of a non-aqueous radical initiator and stopping the radical copolymerization reaction in its midst while the inversion rate of polymerization is at a specified level by adding water to the reaction system to thereby obtain a reaction mixture. The specified third process is for partially or completely neutralizing the reaction mixture.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of correcting the laser beam output power of an NC laser beam cutting machine composed of a computerized numerical control (CNC) apparatus and a laser beam cutting machine. When a laser is initially energized, a correcting coefficient is determined from a laser beam output power command value and an actual laser beam output power by a correcting means (11), and the actual laser beam output power is measured at each periodic interval of time by an output measuring device (33). The NC laser beam cutting machine is controlled by a command control means (13) to eliminate the difference between the laser beam output power command value and the actual laser beam output power. When the laser is initially energized, a long-term variation in the laser beam output power is corrected, and when an actual cutting operation is carried out, a short-term variation in the laser beam output power is corrected, so that the laser output power can be produced accurately.

摘要: A method of automatically measuring the flexure value of a wire electrode 1 in a wire-cut electric discharge machine, such that at a measurement point in the course of electric discharge machining, the electric discharge is temporarily stopped, and whether or not a wire electrode 1 and a workpiece 2 come into contact is sensed by a contact sensing device 107a. The wire electrode 1 and the workpiece 2 are moved relatively to advance or retreat in accordance with a sensed touch signal TS, and a distance .epsilon..sub.1 of movement until the contact state changes is measured. The flexure value .epsilon. is calculated from the measured movement distance .epsilon..sub.1 and the size of the discharge gap.
