    摘要: In the present invention, paper fingerprint information of a document is read (step 801) and whether the paper finger print information is registered is judged (step 802). If it is judged that the paper fingerprint information is registered, read image data are acquired (step 814). Super-resolution processing is then applied to the read image data and read image data, which had been acquired from the document up to a previous time, and high-resolution image data are thereby acquired (step 816). Next, paper fingerprint information of a recording sheet is read (step 808), and the paper fingerprint information and added information, including information indicating a storage location of the read image data that have been acquired up until now in regard to the document, are stored in an associated manner (step 810). An image is then formed on the recording sheet based on the high-resolution image data (step 812).

    摘要: In a network printer, in order to handle tincture variations, if all the waiting print jobs are held in two types of formats, that is, PDL and half-tone print data generated by expanding the PDL, a required memory capacity is increased. Moreover, if the tincture variations occurs, all the waiting print jobs need rendering again. When the print job is to be stored, the received PDL is expanded, continuous-tone data is generated, and the continuous-tone data is JPEG-compressed. If a compression rate is high, the print job (print image data) is stored in the JPEG format. Even if the compression rate is low, storage of only the PDL or of PDL and the half-tone print data is selected according to expansion time of the PDL.

    摘要: A clock signal is frequency-modulated and an image processing operation is executed synchronously with the frequency-modulated clock signal to generate image data which is stored in a memory. Image data written in the memory is read synchronously with a clock signal having a fixed frequency. The image data written in the memory synchronously with the frequency-modulated clock signal is therefore converted into the image data synchronizing with the clock signal having a fixed frequency. Data subjected to image processing synchronously with the frequency-modulated clock signal can be output on the recording apparatus side without any practical problem.
