摘要: This invention relates to a sintered alloy of a boride containing iron consisting essentially of a hard phase composed mainly of iron boride or a multiple boride containing iron in which a part of iron boride is substituted by a non-ferrous boride or multiple boride and a metal phase composed of at least one metal selected from Cu, Co, Ni, Fe, Cr, Mo, W, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta and alloys composed mainly of these metals, wherein the boron content is 3 to 20% by weight, and to a method of making such sintered alloy. The sintered alloy of this invention has a hardness higher than that of high speed steel and has such high hardness and strength that it is comparable to alloys of cemented carbide, and it is characterized in that it has a good corrosion resistance at room temperature, a high oxidation resistance at high temperatures, a high hardness and a high strength, and that it is cheaper and lighter than cemented carbide. This invention provides a novel sintered high-hardness material which will take the place of cemented carbide or high speed steel.

摘要: A machine tool rotational indexing device is provided that is capable of avoiding or restraining the reduction in the preload force of any of rolling element rows or restraining the reduction in the support rigidity of the rotary-side coupling even if the preload is decreased. Rolling elements are arranged in a plurality of rolling element rows between a rotary-side coupling and a stationary-side coupling and a prescribed preload force acts when a joint coupling is located in an unclamped position. The rolling element rows are constructed of a first rolling element row arranged in a direction in which the preload force increases as the joint coupling moves to a clamped position and a second rolling element row arranged in a direction in which the preload force decreases. The first rolling element row is positioned farther apart from the meshing engagement portion of the couplings than the second rolling element row.

摘要: A permanent form for placing a basement concrete wall includes a percolation layer and a water-conduit channel for discharging water leakage or the like from a basement concrete wall. If the basement concrete wall is placed using the form, the percolation layer is impregnated with cement paste of concrete, whereby the form and the basement concrete wall are joined to each other. Redundant water before hardening the concrete, water leakage after hardening or the like flows into the water-conduit channel through the percolation layer, flows downward through the water-conduit channel, and is discharged from the bottom of the form. In addition, heat from the basement concrete wall is cut off by a heat insulating layer provided on the side of the interior as viewed from the water-conduit channel.

摘要: A container composed of a plurality of container materials the opposing parts of which are sealed by heat sealing, wherein at least an opening start part of the sealed portion is of a laminated structure consisting of the plurality of container materials and an intermediate material inserted therebetween. The intermediate material and one of the container materials are tightly sealed, and the intermediate material and another of the container materials are sealed easily peelably. The inside end edge of the easily peelable seal portion is positioned more toward the center of the container than the inside end edge of the tight seal portion. At an opening start position, the outside end edge of the easily peelable seal portion is positioned more toward the center of the container than the outside end edge of the tight seal portion, and the intermediate material is provided so as to jut outwwardly of a heat sealing flat portion of a container flange. The strength of peeling of this sealed container from its central side is high enough to withstand retorting or the like, and opening of the container from outside can be effected by hand accurately and stably.

The intake duct body has an inlet, a left outlet and a right outlet with an intake air passage formed in the intake duct body for supplying intake air from the inlet to left and right outlets. The inlet is disposed on an opposite side of the intake duct body from the left and right outlets and laterally between the left and right outlets in a top plan view. The air flow directing structure is arranged in the intake duct body to direct a flow of intake air entering from the inlet toward the left and right outlets. The air flow directing structure includes a first sound reflecting part serving to block sound from the left intake pipe and a second sound reflecting part serving to block sound from the right intake pipe.

摘要: A control apparatus for controlling a delivery flow rate of a pump pressure-feeding process liquid within a process pipe system is described. The control apparatus has detecting means for detecting available N.P.S.H. of a pump on the basis of a pressure and a temperature of the process liquid within the suction portion of the pump, and calculating means for calculating an allowable maximum flow rate of the pump so as to hold the relationship: available N.P.S.H. required N.P.S.H. The control apparatus also has outputting means for outputting a control signal to control the delivery flow rate of the pump on the basis of the smaller value, the allowable maximum flow rate or a required flow rate of the pump.

摘要: A method and apparatus for guiding the opposed edges of sheet material into substantially abutting edge-to-edge relationship with one another and thereafter welding said edges by a high energy welding source to form a seam. The invention enables the continuous high speed butt welding of the sheet material to form cylindrical bodies. The apparatus includes three elements, a mandrel, a mandrel holder and tube holders. Sheet material is fed to around said mandrel and advanced by a tube holder with an edge of two opposite edges of said sheet material being in intimate contact with a basis plane of said mandrel holder. Another edges is slided into contact with above mentioned edge of sheet material making abutting relationship after passing through the basis plane of said mandrel holder. These abutting edges pass a high energy zone of a welder and butt welded to make a tube.
