    摘要: A spray nozzle which has a nozzle main body and opening at one end in fluid communication with an inflow hole passing into the central portion of the nozzle main body. The inflow hole has a rounded orifice portion in fluid communication with an elongated discharge slot at an opposite end of the nozzle main body. Stirring channels extend along and are in fluid communication with the inflow hole. Each stirring channel has a cup-shaped end which is laterally adjacent the rounded orifice portion of the inflow hole. The cut-shaped portion of the stirring holes causes a reverse flow of mixed gas and liquid which passes down the stirring channels such that mixed gas and liquid passing through the inflow hole towards the elongated discharge slot is agitated and a uniform spray with fine droplets is jetted from the discharge slot.

For automated operation to eliminate all kinds of heavy physical work in a hot environment, the submerged nozzle mounting/dismounting apparatus comprises a slide base (32) laterally slidably mounted for positional adjustment relative to the support arms (27) on a robot arm (21) supported for turning on a stand. A submerged nozzle hanger (40) is provided for supporting the submerged nozzle via support pins (14) projecting from the submerged nozzle. The hanger (40) is pivotally supported for turning in a vertical plane on the slide base. A guide member (45) provided below the slide valve device operates to guide the submerged nozzle hanger (40) for turning in a vertical plane and to guide the slide base through the submerged nozzle hanger for movement in directions perpendicular to the vertical plane in which the submerged nozzle hanger turns. A contact mechanism (46) is supported on the submerged nozzle hanger so as to move along guide surfaces (48, 49) of the guide member. The contact mechanism (46) is guided along the guide surfaces to move the mounting pins (13) of the submerged nozzle on the submerged nozzle hanger into pin receiving grooves (28) of the support arms (27) and to adjust the horizontal positions of the mounting pins (13) so as to be in alignment with the positions of the support arms (27).

The guide mechanism comprises a guide block in which the distal end portion of the spindle is slidably supported, a guide groove formed in the wide face units so as to support the guide block slidably in the narrow face-wise directions of the narrow face unit, a bracket in which the proximal end portion of the spindle is slidably supported, and another guide groove formed in the wide face units so as to support the bracket slidably in the narrow face-wise directions of the narrow face unit. The driving mechanism comprises worm jacks provided between the guide block and the fixed wide face unit and between the bracket and the fixed wide face unit, and a driving source of the worm jacks. Thus, there can be provided a cavity thickness variable mold in which narrow face units are not distorted when they are moved, so that wide face copper plates will not be damaged.

    摘要: In a heating/cooling unit for selectively heating or cooling a set of dies, oil received in a reservoir is supplied to a flow direction changeover valve by a first oil pump. In a stably mode, oil is returned to the reservoir through the changeover valve and a heat exchanger. In a heating mode, the oil is supplied to a second oil pump from the changeover valve through a check valve. The second oil pump supplies the oil to an oil heater, and the heated oil is introduced into a fluid path formed in the dies to heat the dies. The oil discharged from the fluid path of the dies is returned to the second oil pump. Thus, the heated oil is circulated in a closed loop in the heating mode. In a cooling mode, new oil is supplied to the fluid path of the dies from the changeover valve and the oil discharged from the fluid path is guided to the heat exchanger through a switching valve and the cooling oil is returned to the reservoir.
