摘要: A throttle control apparatus includes an accelerator operation mechanism, a throttle shaft, a driving source, an electromagnetic clutch mechanism, driving control means, accelerator operational amount detecting means, accelerator abnormality detecting means, throttle valve opening amount detecting means, throttle abnormality detecting means, valve abnormality detecting means and clutch control means. The accelerator abnormality detecting means judge the abnormality of the accelerator operational amount detecting means and the throttle abnormality detecting means judge the abnormality of the throttle valve opening amount detecting means. Furthermore, the valve abnormality detecting means judge the operation of the throttle control as abnormality when the amount of the throttle valve opening is more than a prescribed value under the condition which the operational amount of the accelerator operation amount is less than a prescribed value. As a result of abnormality judgments of these three kinds, when at least one of them is judged as abnormality, the electromagnetic clutch mechanism is driven by the clutch control means so as to separate the driving source from the throttle shaft.

摘要: A control system for a variable displacement engine for an automobile changes a number of the cylinders of the engine when an engine load changes. The system sets an amendment value to a throttle valve opening in accordance with a throttle valve opening and an engine revolution. The system controls the throttle valve before the system changes a number of the cylinders. Thus the throttle valve is controlled to obtain the same torque before and after the change of the number of the cylinders.

摘要: A throttle control apparatus that maintains a vehicle's ability to run during a throttle system failure includes a throttle-controlling ECU that calculates a throttle opening instruction value from an accelerator stroke signal outputted from an accelerator pedal sensor, and supplies a motor with a current value based on the instruction value, to control the opening of a throttle valve. If the deviation between the instruction value and the output value from a throttle sensor is greater than a reference value, the ECU determines that there is a system failure. If it is determined that a system failure exists, an internal combustion engine controlling ECU varies the number of cylinders of the engine in operation to vary the engine output, depending on whether the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal by the driver is greater than a predetermined value.

摘要: A throttle control apparatus controls the amount of inlet air fed to an internal combustion engine on the basis of the degree of opening of a throttle valve. The throttle valve is constituted by a valve body that is fixedly mounted on a valve shaft which is rotatably supported on a housing. The valve shaft is connected, via a reduction mechanism, to an output shaft of a coreless DC motor that is accommodated within the housing. The DC motor is operated to increase or decrease the amount of inlet air to the engine based on a change of the acceleration pedal position, for example by rotating the valve body by way of the valve shaft through an angle that corresponds to the change in position of the accelerator pedal. Employing a DC coreless motor allows the throttle valve to respond to a very quick positioning of the acceleration pedal with a relatively great degree of accuracy.

摘要: A vehicle driving force control apparatus which can reduce a driver's embarrassment at difference in accelerator feeling when the driver switches from a constant speed cruise mode to an ordinary variable speed drive mode, and which allows the use of engine brake even while constant speed cruise is requested. The apparatus comprises a switch for constant speed cruise, an accelerator sensor, a brake sensor, a current speed sensor, and a cruise condition judging function for deciding that cruise conditions are satisfied when constant speed cruise is requested, the accelerator pedal is not depressed, and the brake pedal is not depressed, and deciding that the cruise conditions are not satisfied in other cases. It updates target vehicle speed with current vehicle speed when the cruise conditions are not satisfied or on the instant when the cruise conditions are changed from dissatisfied to satisfied and sets controlled output so that current vehicle speed reaches the target vehicle speed. The controller also sets the controlled output when the cruise conditions are satisfied and selects controlled output based only on depression on the accelerator pedal by the driver when the cruise conditions are not satisfied. A throttle valve controls a sucked air amount of an engine based on the selected controlled output.

摘要: A throttle control apparatus carries out electronic throttle control, wherein a throttle valve is opened and closed by a motor actuated in accordance with depression of an accelerator pedal. It includes an accelerator lever actuated by the accelerator pedal, a throttle lever provided with the throttle valve, a motor lever actuated by the motor so as to operate the throttle lever in a valve-opening direction and in a valve-closing direction, a limp home lever, and an urging spring for urging the motor lever and the throttle lever in the valve-closing direction. The limp home lever is held rotatably on the throttle lever so as to rotate to an engagement position where it can mechanically engage with the accelerator lever and to a siding position where it cannot mechanically engage therewith. The urging spring also actuates the limp home lever so as to rotate to the siding position when electronic throttle control is carried out by the motor, and actuates it so as to rotate to the engagement position when electronic throttle control is not carried out by the motor.

摘要: A discharge lamp lighting apparatus has a problem that a microcomputer within the apparatus falls down into malfunction due to noises generated in an inside thereof. With such the structure of the discharge lamp lighting apparatus that an operation of a calculation processing circuit, which is built up with the microcomputer, etc., is stopped through stopping the supply of electric power to the calculation processing circuit or bringing it into a sleep mode, it is possible to protecting it from the malfunction, during a time period when high voltage is generated just after starting of lighting of the discharge lamp. Also, with applying a protection processing by means of the calculation processing circuit and also applying an analog protection circuit, in common with, thereby it is possible to ensure reliability thereof further.
