摘要: A carrier tape feeder is provided. The carrier tape feeder includes a unit for loading a carrier tape, a picking-up unit where chips are picked up, and a driving unit. The pick-up unit includes a knife portion, a folding-guiding portion, and an inversion-guiding portion. The knife portion separates a cover tape from a base tape in a first adhesive portion. The folding-guiding portion is spaced from one lateral side of the knife portion to induce folding of the cover tape separated by the knife portion in the lengthwise direction in a state in which the cover tape is partially attached to the base tape in a second adhesive portion. The inversion-guiding portion extends in an oblique direction from the knife portion and the folding-guiding portion toward the outside of the carrier tape to induce inversion of the upper and lower surfaces of the cover tape folded in the folding-guiding portion so as to be superimposed on the base tape. The distal end of the lateral side of the folding-guiding portion opposed to the knife portion extends above the second adhesive portion.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device has first and second substrates. A first electrode on the first substrate is alignment-treated and a second electrode on the second substrate is alignment-treated. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Alignment-treating includes forming an alignment direction. The alignment direction of the first and second substrates is formed by irradiating an ion beam onto the first and second electrodes using an ion beam irradiation apparatus.

摘要: The present invention provides a semiconductor based photovoltaic device and a manufacturing method thereof. The semiconductor based photovoltaic device is able to absorb light with a wide band wavelength, and has high photoelectric conversion efficiency since it has high electron-hole pair separation efficiency. More specifically, the method for manufacturing the photovoltaic device comprises the steps of: a) forming a thin semiconductor quantum dot film on a p or n-type semiconductor substrate, wherein the thin semiconductor quantum dot film includes semiconductor quantum dots inside a medium at which the same type of impurities as the semiconductor substrate are doped; b) forming a pore array through partial etching, wherein the pore array penetrates the thin semiconductor quantum dot film; c) depositing a semiconductor in which complementary impurities to the semiconductor substrate are doped on the thin semiconductor quantum dot film at which the pore array is formed; and d) forming sequentially a transparent conductive film and an upper electrode on the semiconductor in which the complementary impurities are doped and forming a lower electrode at a lower portion of the semiconductor substrate.

摘要: A developer storage device and an image forming apparatus having the same include a developer storage part including a first storage part and a second storage part having widths different from each other, and a first developer conveying member to convey a developer stored in the first storage part to the second storage part in a diagonal direction. The first developer conveying member includes conveying elements extended slantingly with respect to a width direction of the developer storage part. An angle between the conveying elements and the width direction of the developer storage part is determined depending on relative positions of the first storage part and the second storage part. Accordingly, the developer storage device can effectively convey a developer by designing the developer conveying member adequately for an overall shape or structure of the developer storage device.
