摘要: A Raman probe that can be used with high-intensity excitation light without producing light that interferes with the measurement of Raman scattering. A receiving-end filter is doughnut-shaped, with an exciting-end filter disposed at the center thereof. A light-blocking structure is provided between the exciting-end filter and the receiving-end filter such that the excitation end and the receiving end are completely separated.

摘要: A Raman probe for measuring Raman spectrum includes an exciting-end light guiding path for guiding excitation light from a light source to a sample; a receiving light-guide path for guiding a light signal from said sample to a detector; a band-pass filter for passing said excitation light and blocking Raman-scattered light produced from said exciting-end light guiding path; a pipe for securing said band-pass filter inside said pipe, said pipe being mounted on a light-outgoing end of said exciting-end light guiding path; and an edge filter mounted on a light-incident end of said receiving light-guide path, said edge filter passing Raman-scattered light from said sample while blocking the excitation light. The edge filter is a short-wavelength transmitting filter that permits passage of wavelengths shorter than the excitation wavelength.

摘要: A spectral probe for blood vessel diagnosis that can be used for diagnosing blood vessels with high reliability, without imposing an excessive burden on patients. A Raman spectrum measuring probe and either an endoscope or an ultrasonic probe are integrated. A mechanism is provided for bringing the tip of the Raman probe into contact with an affected area so as to eliminate the influence of blood when measuring. An endoscope has a forward-looking view in the blood vessel, while the Raman probe is of the lateral-view type for facilitating the measurement of blood vessel walls. A fixing balloon is provided at the probe tip portion that is inserted into a blood vessel, and a window for the Raman probe is provided on the opposite side of the balloon. As the fixing balloon is inflated, part of it comes into contact with the internal wall of a blood vessel and fixes the probe, while leaving a gap between the internal wall of the blood vessel and the probe. The window comes into contact with the affected area. Because the blood is allowed to flow through the gap, the blood stream is not stopped even when the balloon is inflated.

摘要: A sample conveying mechanism minimizes a risk of damage to a sample typified particularly by a photomask, and the sample conveying mechanism provides the sample retention mechanism for holding the sample so as to be suspended and is configured such that a portion close to a pattern surface of the sample is separated from a projection section of a flange for suspending the sample, thereby inhibiting a contact between the pattern surface and members configuring the conveying mechanism.

摘要: There is provided a mini environment type transfer unit which can efficiently transfer a sample to a critical dimension scanning electron microscope (CD-SEM) even in the case of use of a SMIF pod which can store only one photomask. In addition to a load port, a stocker which can store a plurality of photomasks is provided in the mini environment type transfer unit. A mask storage slot in which a plurality of storage units are stacked is provided in the stocker, and one photomask is stored in each storage unit. A sensor is provided in each storage unit to determine whether or not the photomask is normally stored. Additionally, a sensor is provided in each storage unit to detect whether or not the photomask exists.
