    摘要: In order to achieve an ionization method of high robustness with a small carry-over or less crosstalk, an ionization method is disclosed. A method includes the steps of: joining an ionization unit to a tube; sucking the sample from a sample container into a sample holder of the ionization unit to hold the sample; moving the ionization unit holding the sample to near the ionization unit using an ionization unit drive unit; and applying a voltage to the ionization unit using a power supply to ionize the sample by electrostatically spraying the sample from the holding unit.

    摘要: In an ion mobility separation device, there are problems that while arraying of separation electrodes and flow paths is restricted, time required for scanning correction voltages becomes longer and the throughput is reduced when the correction voltages are set in detail. These problems are solved for example by the following means. Namely, an ion mobility separation device characterized in that: at least one of a pair of plate electrodes has a first electrode section having a first conductivity, a second electrode section having a second conductivity, and a third electrode section interposed between the first electrode section and the second electrode section, wherein the third electrode section has a third conductivity smaller than the first conductivity and the second conductivity; the first electrode section, the second electrode section and the third electrode section are aligned in a direction perpendicular to a flow path; and a voltage controller applies different direct-current voltages to the first electrode section and the second electrode section.

    摘要: A mass spectrometer using a linear ion trap capable of efficiently suppressing the space charge and enabling scanning for a wide m/z range at a high Duty Cycle is provided. The mass spectrometer comprises: an ion source for ionizing a specimen to generate ions, an ion transport portion for transporting the ions, a linear ion trap portion for accumulating the transported ions by a potential formed axially, and a control portion of ejecting the ions within a second m/z range different from a first m/z range from the linear ion trap portion substantially at the same timing as the timing of accumulating the ions within the first m/z range to the linear ion trap portion, in which the control portion conducts control of ejecting the ions mass selectively from the linear ion trap portion by any of voltage application of (1) applying a supplemental AC voltage between at least a pair of linear ion trap rods constituting the linear ion trap portion, (2) applying a supplemental AC voltage to an end lens constituting the linear ion trap portion, and (3) applying a supplemental AC voltage between inserted lenses, the inserted lenses constituting the linear ion trap portion.
