摘要: A free piston apparatus includes a piston receptacle in which a piston device having a piston is reciprocable along an axis. The piston receptacle includes or forms a combustion chamber delimited by a wall arrangement forming an inlet opening for the supply of fresh gas and an outlet opening for the removal of exhaust gas. Fresh gas is suppliable via a supply conduit. The free piston apparatus includes a housing for fresh gas which is connected to the supply conduit in a flow direction of the fresh gas being supplied. The housing forms a settling chamber for fresh gas which surrounds the piston receptacle at least in sections in the region of the inlet opening in a circumferential direction of the axis. The settling chamber opens into the combustion chamber via the inlet opening.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for computer-implemented processing of SAR raw data, which comprises radar echoes from radar pulse. An interference radar echo and an interference pulse are associated with a respective radar pulse, wherein the interference pulse and the respective radar pulse have orthogonal waveforms. SAR raw data are focused by a first focusing on the interference pulses including a range compression and an azimuth compression, to obtain first focused data, where a filtering is used for the range compression of a respective radar pulse, which filtering is matched to the waveform of the associated interference pulse. Thereafter, the first focused data undergo a signal suppression, which at least partially suppresses the interference radar echo, as a result of which second focused data are obtained. These second focused data finally undergo a defocusing including range decompression and azimuth decompression to obtain modified SAR raw data.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and to a device for detecting a degradation of flight performance of an aircraft that is in flight, wherein current flight status data of the aircraft that is in flight are first determined. A flight performance index is then calculated on the basis thereof. Furthermore, on the basis thereof, a nominal flight performance reference index is determined by means of a flight performance model, wherein a degradation of flight performance can be inferred by comparing the two indices.

摘要: The method for providing a warning of radiation-dose-relevant space-weather events at cruising altitudes comprises the steps of detecting radiation data of the atmospheric radiation, particularly ionizing radiation in the atmosphere, and providing a radiation model for 3D-spatially resolved estimation of a radiation field at cruising altitudes of the earth's atmosphere by use of a radiation dose rate scale based on a continuous range of values. Moreover, the 3D-spatially resolved rates of the effective radiation dose on the basis of the detected radiation data and the radiation model will be estimated. The radiation dose rate scale is divided, based on a continuous range of values, into a discrete, i.e. graduated radiation dose rate scale comprising individual successive ranges of values of increasing radiation dose rates, and respectively one index will be assigned to each range of values, wherein a first range of values is between a radiation dose rate of zero and a presettable first upper limit, a second range of values is between the first upper limit and a second upper limit which is equal to a presettable multiple of the first upper limit, and each further range of values is between the upper limit of the next smaller range of values and an upper limit which is equal to the presettable multiple of the upper limit of the next smaller range of values. As a warning, there is indicated the index of that range of values within which is situated the estimated radiation dose rate for a presettable range in the earth's atmosphere.

摘要: This application describes a tool, an arrangement, and a method of manufacturing a component. The manufacturing of the component is achieved by a resin transfer from a storage chamber via a transfer line into a working chamber. Before the resin transfer, taking place, for example by a compressed air charging of the storage chamber, the storage chamber is filled with an amount of resin adjusted to the size of the component. Furthermore, a semi-finished product, consisting of cut-to-size reinforcement fibers, is inserted into the working chamber that is adjusted to the form of the component to be produced. Storage chamber, transfer line, and working chamber are configured in a one-piece mould casing of the tool. The application further describes a component manufactured by the above-mentioned tool or by the above-mentioned method respectively.
