摘要： A computing device receives a request to render an optimized display of selected objects on a user interface. The computing device analyzes a layout associated with the selected objects by determining a category of each of the selected objects, a location of each category within the location, and an optimized route between each category. The computing device analyzes routes to the locations by determining least optimal times associated with each location, a time to arrive and complete the optimized route at each location, and an order to the locations to optimize arrival time at a time other than the least optimal times. The computing device renders an optimized display of the selected objects on the user interface with an optimized route to each location and an optimized display of the selected objects in an order corresponding the the optimized routes between each category within the location layouts.

摘要： A method of making precooked meat pieces using a hybrid cooking system comprises preheating meat pieces to a temperature of at least approximately 140° F. to create preheated meat pieces. The preheated meat pieces are transferred to an oven heated with an external heating source. The oven includes internal surfaces, and the external heating source assists in keeping the internal surfaces at a temperature below a smoke point of fat from the meat pieces. The preheated meat pieces are cooked in the oven to a water activity level of 0.92 or less to create precooked meat pieces. Optionally, flavoring could be applied to the precooked meat pieces after the precooked meat pieces have been removed from the oven and before the precooked meat pieces have cooled.

摘要： A matchbox oven is disclosed. The matchbox oven includes a housing having a cavity and first and second openings. A surface is movable only in a single axis and a single plane, a first portion of the surface is located substantially within the cavity when a second portion of the surface is located substantially outside the cavity, and the first portion of the surface is located substantially outside the cavity when the second portion of the surface is located substantially within the cavity. A plurality of stoppers are attached onto the surface, wherein two of the stoppers substantially block the first and second openings when one of the first and second portions of the surface is located within the cavity.

摘要： A microwave heating device which enables use of a conveyor with a metallic belt is provided, as is a baking facility having the device. The device includes a conveying means for conveying objects to be heated; a microwave generating means for emitting microwaves to the objects to be heated conveyed by the conveying means; a rotating member that is provided between the objects to be heated and the microwave generating means, and that has a rotary vane configured to reflect the microwaves emitted from the microwave generating means; and a shielding member configured to reflect the microwaves, provided between the rotating member and the objects to be heated. The conveying means has a metallic holding member for holding the objects to be heated, and the shielding member has a microwave transmitting unit for transmitting the microwaves. The microwave transmitting unit extends in a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the objects to be heated conveyed by the conveying means.

Each heating zone is comprised of one or more infrared emitters that are configured to emit a spectrum of infrared wavelengths that varies in intensity and spectrum over time. The spectra of emitted infrared wavelengths in each zone can have the same or different profile. Zones are regions wherein infrared emitters are configured and operated to emit the same or substantially the same infrared energy wavelengths and intensity levels across an IR spectrum. Access to the infrared emitters and the conveyor is provided by one or more access or maintenance ports formed into a side of the conveyor oven. Temperature control inside the oven is effectuated by venting hot air through air vents formed into the oven sides and/or top.

摘要： In general, one embodiment of the invention is directed to food holding apparatus for holding pre-cooked food at a selected holding temperature. The apparatus comprises a cabinet having at least one holding compartment therein, and pre-cooked food in the holding compartment, the food having been previously cooked in a cooking appliance. At least one radiant heat source is spaced above the food a distance less than 12 inches for delivering radiant heat to the food. A control mechanism varies the amount of radiant heat delivered by the heat source to the food to maintain the food at the selected holding temperature. A related method is also disclosed.
