摘要: An artificial acetabular joint replacing device includes an acetabular joint replacing body, an acetabular cap, a fastening piece, one or more fastening screws, and one or more fastening cords. The acetabular joint replacing body is dimensioned to fit over a premended portion of a femur and provided in the bottom portion thereof with at least one cord hole and one or more fastening holes. The fastening piece is provided with one or more fastening holes and cord holes. The fastening screws are used to fasten together the acetabular joint replacing body, the femur and the fastening piece by engaging the fastening holes of the acetabular joint replacing body and the fastening piece, and predrilled fastening holes of the femur. The fastening cords are used to reinforce the fastening of the acetabular joint replacing body, the femur and the fastening piece by passing through the cord holes of the acetabular joint replacing body and the fastening piece.

摘要: A external femoral component for mechanically housing onto exterior remnant of natural femur and coupling with articulation elements in order to use in total hip arthroplasty defines as a hollow shell comprised of asymmetrically bell shaped cup, at least one rigid elongated stem downwardly extended from the lower rim of the cup and a plurality of an cylindrical object upwardly protruded from top of the cup for pairing with articulation elements and coupling with anchoring means and the tension anchoring means fixes the hollow shell on the bone surface through an interlocking mechanisms.

摘要: An anatomic, neck-locking femoral prosthesis for use in total hip replacement is described. The asymmetric device fundamentally comprises a shell with a hollow bell-shape, which is anchored on the outside of retention neck and the trochantic bed of the femur. The prosthesis is mechanically fastened during the operation and further biologically secured by in-growing bone around the neck and trochantic bed area through the side holes on the shell and by growing into its interior porous coating surface of implant thereafter. The loading force on the femoral head would be well distributed on the shell and directly conducted into the cortex bone of the femoral shaft through the shell. The prosthesis would provide a simple and safe replacement method of hip prosthesis for most patients, particularly benefit for younger patient who has a defective head of femur. Because of less changes in term of anatomic structure of femur, new device could eliminate most of side effects and complications, which appear in regular stem type prosthesis of THA and thereafter.

摘要: An external proximal femoral prosthesis for total hip arthroplasty (THA) is described, which fundamentally comprises a shell configured a hollow, thin-wall, asymmetric bell shape and a plurality of tension anchor means. An inner transverse cross contour of the shell forms a cavity, which could be affixable to a profile of outer surface of the area of neck, trochantic bed and calcar of the proximal femur. A neck portion of the shell is compatible with acetabular components (ball and cup). The prosthesis is mechanically fastened by tension anchor means during the operation and further biologically secured by in-growing bone through the side holes on the shell wall and into its interior coating surface of implant wall thereafter. The loading force on the femoral head would be well transferred and distributed on the shell and then directly conducted into the cortical bone of the femoral shaft therearound.
