Abstract: A spray gun cover is made of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers (e.g., Tyvek), another cloth-like material, plastic, or fabric. The cover is self-sustaining, and an elastic material is disposed at openings of the cover to secure the cover at the nozzle around the nozzle opening of the spray gun cover and at the back of the spray gun around a large opening of the spray gun cover. Through the cover, the paint cup or reservoir and the spray gun are covered and protected from airborne fluid or dry particles that bounce back from the surface of the item being sprayed with paint, stain, or other fluid (overspray). Additionally, an air hose cover is also made of flashspun high-density polyethylene fibers or the like and covers and protects an air hose for a spray gun.

Abstract: A deposition mask in which deformation of long sides is restrained is manufactured. A manufacturing method of a deposition mask includes a step of preparing a metal plate; a processing step of processing the metal plate into an intermediate product comprising: a plurality of deposition mask portions each including a pair of long sides and a pair of short sides, and having a plurality of through-holes formed therein; and a support portion that surrounds the plurality of deposition mask portions, and is partially connected to the short sides of the plurality of deposition mask portions; and a separation step of separating the deposition mask portions from the support portion to obtain the deposition mask. In the intermediate product, the long sides of the deposition mask portions are not connected to the support portion.

Abstract: The invention solves the problem of protecting aircraft components during finishing. Such components are large and require masking films of vast dimensions which are difficult to handle and position rapidly. The invention relates to films packaged to facilitate transport, and to a method of positioning the packaged films on the corresponding components. The longitudinal and/or transverse portions of the films are packaged by means of at least one opération chosen from among: accordion folding, telescopic folding, gâte folding, roll folding, winding around a mandrel, and winding on itself. The packaged films can have positioning markers on at least one surface and/or tear lines suitable for detaching the portions of film to be separated. The invention also concerns a kit comprising a film and a guide element for guiding the positioning of the film on the component.
