摘要: Inventive embodiments are directed to components, subassemblies, systems, and/or methods for electric traction drives employing a continuously variable transmission (CVT) having a variator provided with a plurality of tilting traction planets and opposing traction rings. In one embodiment, an electric traction drive is provided with an electromotive device configured to transfer power to or from a traction sun of a CVT. In other embodiments, an electric traction drive is provided with an electromotive device that couples to certain components of a CVT such as a traction ring, a carrier assembly, and a main axle. Various inventive shifting assemblies having shift cams and shift cam cages can be used to facilitate adjusting the transmission speed ratio of a CVT. Various related devices include embodiments of, for example, a power input apparatus, a speed ratio shifter, a shift cam actuator, a shift nut, and a carrier assembly configured to support the tilting traction planets.

摘要: A multi-speed transmission including an electric motor having a hollow rotor shaft disposed in an axle housing, a first planetary gear set, a second a planetary gear set, a third planetary gear set. The first planetary gear set is drivingly connected to the rotor shaft and a first transfer shaft. The second planetary gear set is drivingly connected to the first transfer shaft and a second transfer shaft and has ring gear selectively fixed to the axle housing. The third planetary gear set is drivingly connected to the first transfer shaft and an output gear and has a ring gear rotationally fixed to the axle housing. Clutches are selectively engaged to rotationally fix the ring gears to the axle housing. The rotor shaft and first transfer shaft are coaxially with respect to each other and axle half shafts of a transaxle.

摘要: A powertrain includes an internal combustion engine, an electric machine including a rotor, a geartrain including a pump drive mechanism, a first clutch and a second clutch and a variator for a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The internal combustion engine is rotatably coupled to the rotor of the electric machine by activation of a second clutch. The internal combustion engine is rotatably coupled to the variator by activation of first and second clutches. The rotor of the electric machine is rotatably coupled to the variator by activation of the first clutch, and the electric machine is operative in either a forward direction or a reverse direction. The geartrain is disposed to operate the pump drive mechanism to drive a fluidic pump in a first direction when the electric machine is operating in the forward direction and when the electric machine is operating in the reverse direction.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a transmission convertible to various specifications while ensuring compatibility of housing. It is further an object of the present invention to provide a transmission that can restrain vibration of a hydraulic unit, and that can downsize the housing. As a solution to the problem, a transmission (3) includes: a hydraulic unit which operates with a working fluid; an input shaft (312, 372) configured to transmit rotary power to the hydraulic unit; an output shaft (313, 373) configured to transmit rotary power from the hydraulic unit; and a housing (7) configured to accommodate the hydraulic unit, the input shaft (312, 372), and the output shaft (313, 373), wherein the transmission is capable of selecting a continuously variable transmission (311) or a connection/disconnection device (371) as the hydraulic unit.

摘要: A plurality of virtual gear positions are established by an electric continuously variable transmission, and the number of speeds of the virtual gear positions is equal to or larger than the number of speeds of mechanical gear positions of a mechanical stepwise variable transmission. One virtual gear position or two or more virtual gear positions is/are assigned to each mechanical gear position, and the mechanical gear position is shifted in the same timing as shift timing of the virtual gear position. The virtual gear positions assigned to each mechanical gear position when the mechanical gear position is upshifted are different from the virtual gear positions assigned to each mechanical gear position when the mechanical gear position is downshifted. Thus, the amount of heat generated in frictional engagement elements of the mechanical stepwise variable transmission is prevented from being increased.

摘要: A power-split transmission device for a vehicle, which connects a drive engine to a drive output, having a hydrostatic unit for continuous adjustment of the transmission ratio at a transmission unit, and two range clutches that alternately operate for respectively associated driving ranges with different transmission ratios. A control unit, during regular vehicle deceleration, implements the driving range change from a first range, with higher transmission ratios, to a second range, with lower transmission ratios, by switching from the first to the second range clutch in accordance with a synchronous point dependent deceleration control logic. In the special case of an unexpected increase of the deceleration dynamic at the beginning of an already initiated driving range change from the first to the second driving range, the control unit immediately forces the change by bypassing the synchronous point dependent deceleration control logic when other boundary conditions are fulfilled.
