摘要: A vehicle power transfer unit assembly comprises an input shaft, an intermediate shaft at least partially surrounding the input shaft, a central shaft adjacent the input shaft, a peripheral shaft at least partially surrounding the central shaft, a first shift collar, and a second shift collar. The first shift collar is operable between a first position where torque is transferred from the input shaft to the intermediate shaft and a second position where torque is not transferred from the input shaft to the intermediate shaft. The second shift collar is operable between a third position where torque is transferred from the input shaft to the peripheral shaft and a fourth position where torque is transferred from the input shaft to the central shaft.

摘要: A vehicle has an engine, a limited slip differential (LSD) mounted on an axle driven by the engine, and left and right wheels operably connected to the LSD. At least one parameter indicative of a riding condition of the vehicle is determined. A slippery driving condition is detected based on the at least one parameter. The LSD is selectively locked in response to the detection. The slippery driving condition is detected when a torque requested by a user is above a load line of the engine, upon successive wheel slips occurrences, and/or when a wheel slip is detected while a preload is applied to the LSD.

摘要: A differential assembly is disclosed, including a housing forming an interior space, and a shaft may extend into a portion of the interior space of the housing. A side gear including an aperture may be arranged within the interior space and an end portion of the shaft is aligned and extends through the aperture. The differential assembly may further include a sliding sleeve configured with a flat flange portion, the sliding sleeve may extend through the aperture and slide over the end portion of the shaft. Furthermore, a pinion gear may be configured with a flat face portion and a pinion gear cam portion may be configured to extend axially away from the flat face portion of the pinion gear. An actuator may actuate the sliding sleeve between a sleeve first position and a sleeve second position and the flat flange portion may interact with the pinion gear cam portion.

摘要: An output transfer group is disclosed for use with a mobile machine. The output transfer group may have a housing, and an input yoke extending from the housing and configured to receive an input torque. The output transfer group may also have a first output yoke extending from the housing and configured to provide a first output torque, a second output yoke extending from the housing and configured to provide a second output torque, and a plurality of gears disposed within the housing and connecting the input yoke to the first and second output yokes. The output transfer group may further have a disk stack operatively connected to two of the plurality of gears, and an actuator configured to selectively compress the disk stack to vary a split of the input torque between the first and second output yokes. The actuator may be maintained in contact with the disk stack during operation of the output transfer group.

摘要: A controller for a four-wheel drive vehicle includes a multi-information display, a first operation part for switching of drive modes, a second operation part for switching of off-road traveling modes, a transfer controller that controls the arrangement of a transfer device based on the drive mode, a detector that detects the arrangement of the transfer device, a setter that sets the traveling mode based on the detected arrangement and input operations to the first and second operation parts, and a display controller that instructs the multi-information display to display the drive mode based on the input operation to the first operation part and the detected arrangement and to display the traveling mode set by the setter. The display controller displays the drive mode and the traveling mode on a window when the switched drive mode is a locked drive mode and simultaneously turns off these modes after a predetermined time.
