    摘要: The present invention provides a geopolymeric cement formed from a precursor having a relatively high alumina content (Si:Al atomic ratio of less than or equal to 1.3:1) to form an alkaline multiphase alumino-silicate material.The precursor comprises basaltic rock in which kaolinization is at an advanced stage, preferably Interbasaltic material found in Northern Ireland.The present invention also provides structural units for constructing a building, the structural units being manufactured using the geopolymeric cement of the invention.The invention also provides a process for producing a geopolymeric cement comprising a precursor having a relatively high alumina content (Si:Al atomic ratio of less than or equal to 1.3:1) to form an alkaline alumino-silicate geopolymer material for manufacturing geopolymeric structural building units having compressive strengths of greater than 3 N/mm2 and preferably having compressive strengths in the range of 12-25 N/mm2.

    摘要: Improved compounds and methods for applications in the oil and gas industry are obtained by the disclosed compositions of phosphate salts. These salts have characteristics beneficial to the oil and gas industry for completion fluids, killing fluids, work-over fluids, drilling fluids and packer fluids. These features include high density (up to SG 2.50), low corrosiveness, stability, not subject to disturbance from formation reaction, not prone to precipitate, environmentally sound, capable of buffering pH, and the disclosed formulation is easy to mix in the field with the capability of increasing the density of existing completion fluids used.

    摘要: The geosynthetic binder dry composition includes at least: an alkalino-calcium type activator including at least lime and an alkaline salt, which can suitably react together so as to form in situ a base in the presence of water, and a silico-aluminous compound, including an amount of calcium oxide higher than or equal to 15%, by weight, as compared to the silico-aluminous compound total weight, characterized in that the binder dry composition includes, by weight, as compared to the total weight, from 45 to 95% of the silico-aluminous compound, from 2 to 25% of lime and from 3 to 30% of an alkaline salt. The material including the geosynthetic binder dry composition and water, a method for producing the geosynthetic binder dry composition, and a method for producing the material are also described.
