摘要: The invention relates to a cell containing a gene encoding a conditional transgenic surface marker that is detectable upon expression on the surface of the cell, wherein the gene encoding a conditional transgenic surface marker comprises: (i) a promoter, operably linked to (ii) a first transcription sequence, and (iii) a second transcription sequence encoding the surface marker, whereby the first transcription sequence prevents the transcription of the second transcription sequence, whereby the first transcription sequence is conditionally removable such that the second transcription sequence is transcribable, and whereby the surface marker renders the cell sortable through the detection of the conditional transgenic surface marker. Furthermore, the invention relates to a construct for generating such a cell, and to a method for separating such a cell from a population of cells.

摘要: The present invention relates to a product and process for suppressing an immune response using a T lymphocyte veto molecule capable of blocking cell surface molecules responsible for T cell activation. Disclosed is a CD4 or CD2 molecule, associated with an immunoglobulin molecule capable of binding to a major histocompatibility antigen. Also disclosed is a method to produce a T lymphocyte veto molecule, a therapeutic composition comprising a T lymphocyte veto molecule and methods to use T lymphocyte veto molecules in therapeutic processes requiring suppression of an immune response.

摘要: The crystal structures of CD45 and LAR, described herein, provide a basis for kinetic and functional studies. Identification of the crystal structures of cellular molecules is important in to determine functional roles in immunity, phosphorylation events, disease initiation mechanism. The isolated crystals and methods for crystallization thereof, are also important in identifying small molecule interactions with cellular molecules for new drug discovery
