    摘要: A method for transitioning from a Ziegler-Natta to a Phillips catalyst system for the olefin polymerization reaction in one reactor, preferably a gas phase reactor, is described. The method comprises the steps of a) discontinuing a first olefin polymerization reaction performed in the presence of the Ziegler-Natta catalyst system; b) performing a second olefin polymerization reaction in the presence of a further catalyst system comprising catalyst components (A) and (B) producing, respectively, a first and a second polyolefin fraction, wherein the Mw of the first polyolefin fraction is less than the Mw of the second polyolefin fraction and the initial activity of catalyst component (A) exceeds the initial activity of catalyst component (B); and c) performing a third olefin polymerization reaction the presence of the Phillips catalyst system. Thanks to this method, there is no need to empty the reactor after each olefin polymerization reaction, and the transitioning time needed to attain the desired quality of the polyolefin obtained in each olefin polymerization reaction subsequent to the first one is sufficiently short to permit a quick and reliable change of production.

    摘要: The present invention belongs to the field of polyolefin alloy preparation, and particularly relates to a polyolefin composite material in good form with adjustable composition and performances, produced by controlling a composite catalyst composed of Zieglar-Natta catalyst and metallocene catalyst to be catalytic by stage in the olefin polymerization reaction. This material is composed of propylene polymer and ethylene copolymer which is obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with alpha olefin or diolefin, wherein: the molar content of alpha olefin or diolefin in the ethylene copolymer is 0%˜60%, and the ethylene copolymer is 3˜80% by weight of the polyolefin composite material; the polyolefin composite material is in particle form, and the ethylene copolymer has a molecular weight distribution of 1˜6 and a glass transition temperature of −80˜0° C.; and the ethylene copolymer produced in the reaction is dispersed homogeneously in the propylene polymer particles to form the polyolefin composite material.

    摘要: Embodiments of our invention relate to processes for transitioning among polymerization catalyst systems including processes for transitioning among olefin polymerization reactions using Ziegler-Natta catalysts systems and chromium-based catalyst systems. Among embodiments contemplated are a method of transitioning from a first catalyst to a second catalyst in an olefin polymerization reactor, comprising: adding to the reactor a deactivating agent (DA) selected from one of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, or combinations thereof; adding to the reactor a cocatalyst adsorbing agent (CAA), comprising an inorganic oxide selected from one of silica, alumina or combinations thereof; wherein the first catalyst comprises at least one conventional Ziegler-Natta catalyst, and a cocatalyst, wherein the second catalyst comprises at least one chromium-based catalyst, wherein the reactor is a gas-phase, fluidized bed reactor, and wherein the CAA is substantially free of transition metals. In another embodiment a method of transitioning from a first catalyst to a second catalyst in an olefin polymerization reactor is contemplated, comprising: adding a transition aid agent (TAA) wherein the TAA is selected from one of alkoxylated amines, alkoxylated amides, or combinations thereof, wherein the first catalyst comprises at least one Ziegler-Natta catalyst comprising the catalyst, a cocatalyst and optionally a support, and the second catalyst comprises at least one chromium-based catalyst.
