    摘要: A cutting device adapted to be pulled by a trailer. The cutting device comprises a frame which supports an engine and a cutting drum assembly powered by the engine. The cutting drum assembly comprises a self-aligning mount that allows movement of its drum relative to the frame. The engine is positioned such that its weight is provided to the cutting drum assembly to maintain a consistent depth of the cutting drum. A linear actuator, such as a hydraulic cylinder, allows the frame to pivot internally, so that the cutting drum assembly may be raised and lowered relative to the ground while translating the frame on wheels.

    摘要: A slab jack assembly for raising a fragmented slab from between sections of a concrete slab from which the fragmented slab is cut comprises a planar support positionable on top of the fragmented slab. Jacks are mounted on opposite sides of the planar support to engage an upper surface of the concrete slab. Securement pins mounted on the planar support are insertable into holes bored in the plurality of fragments in the fragmented slab and expandable within the holes to secure the fragments to the planar support. The first and second jacks are then operable to lift the planar support and fragments upward relative to the concrete slab.

    摘要: A low-noise method and apparatus for fracturing concrete and other solid materials by coupling microwave energy into the material in a fashion such as to generate independent heat patterns using at least two or more microwave applicator horns that are spaced apart from each other. The power density of the microwave energy coupled into the solid material is established and maintained below a predetermined threshold level above which violent and explosive type reactions occur. The spaced heat patterns or zones produced cause the heated material to expand, so as to place high tensile forces or stresses on the unheated material between the heat patterns. These forces or stresses cause failure to occur between the heat patterns, and ultimately across the heat patterns themselves.
