    摘要: An oscillatory pump includes a cylinder (9) having normally-closed valves (10,13) of flexible material fixedly located at the inlet (A.sub.c) and outlet (B.sub.c) ends of the cylinder (9), and a piston (1) having an inlet (A.sub.p) and an outlet (B.sub.p). The piston (1) is reciprocatable within the cylinder (9) and is provided with a further valve (6) of flexible material movable with the piston (1) and located at the outlet end (B.sub.p) of the piston (1). The piston (1) is constructed to allow fluid to pass from an inlet chamber (C1) formed between the inlet valve (10) and the inlet end (A.sub.p) of the piston (1) to an outlet chamber (C2) formed between the further valve (6) and the outlet valve (13) in response of the piston (1) within the cylinder (9). The valve includes a valve seat having a generally conical first surface portion and a second surface portion located radially inwardly of the first surface portion and extending generally parallel to the axis of the first surface portion. A generally annular valve member has a tip portion for gripping the second surface portion of the valve seat with an interference fit only between the tip portion and the valve seat. A mechanism is provided for effecting reciprocatory movement of the piston (1) within the cylinder (9).

    摘要: This invention describes a cartridge pump and dispensing assembly for applications where cartridges containing liquid reagents are interchanged often. The cartridge pump has a reagent reservoir which directly empties into a metering chamber. A valve is at each end of the metering chamber. The two valves are aligned in the same direction so as to allow unidirectional liquid flow. The metering chamber is made of a compressible material, such as flexible tubing, so that when an external compression is applied to the chamber, the liquid contained therein is forcibly expelled. As the compression is removed, the metering chamber resumes its former shape and draws liquid into the chamber from the reagent reservoir. A dispensing assembly with electromechanical actuators for compression of the metering chamber and a sensor for sensing the amount of liquid contained within the reagent reservoir are also shown.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a fuel pump for an internal combustion engine such as a two-stroke engine in a portable handheld work apparatus such as a motor-driven chain saw or the like. A pump chamber is connected via a suction valve to a fuel feed and via a pressure valve to a pressure line. A pump membrane delimits the pump chamber and is driven by the fluctuating crankcase pressure of the engine which is present in the work chamber. Pump operation free of disturbances over a wide rpm range is attained with the suction valve to the pump chamber being configured essentially as a valve having the shape of a part circle, The pressure valve is disposed approximately at the center of the suction valve and delimits the pump chamber in the stroke direction of the pump membrane.
