    摘要: A self priming pump system that includes a motor coupled to a centrifugal pump for driving the centrifugal pump. A separator having a reservoir is provided for storing a limited amount of pumped fluid in advance of the centrifugal pump. A vacuum source provides a vacuum suction to the reservoir to draw pumped fluid into the reservoir to prime the pump. To increase the reliability of the vacuum pump system, a deflector and/or extension may be provided in the reservoir to help prevent pumped fluid from entering the vacuum pump input. Also, the configuration of a tank used to store liquid for the vacuum pump system may be configured to separate and collect sediments near a drain port, which then can be easily drained. For positive head pressures, one or more valves may be used to prevent pumped fluid from escaping the reservoir, if desired.

The liquid opening is configured such that in response to a driving force a stream of liquid is output from the opening, the stream of liquid forming a liquid blade between the rotor and the stator, gas confined by the stator, the rotor and the liquid blade being driven through the pump along a pumping channel from a gas inlet towards a gas outlet in response to relative rotational motion of the rotor and the stator. A cross sectional area of the pumping channel is configured to increase from the gas inlet to the gas outlet.

    摘要: The invention relates to rotary machines, with nonparallel rotor and pistons axes of rotation. A spherical cavity (4) formed by a body (1) comprises a rotor (7), which is arranged therein and is provided with a through slot (21) in which a piston (8) in the form of a through-cutout (33) disk is mounted in such a way that it is enabled to perform rotational oscillatory motions. The working cavity is divided into bypass (2) and pressure (3) sections. A C-shaped separator (9) is placed in the bypass section (2) and separates the working medium input window (12) from the output window (13) thereof. In the pressure section (3), the working medium is pushed by the projecting part of the piston (8). The inventive spherical positive displacement rotary machine enables uniform flow rate throughout the cycle. The input and output windows are spaced along a shaft, thereby making it possible to develop, on the basis of said machine, multistage down-hole pumps and hydraulic drives. A high tightness and a low internal hydraulic resistance render the inventive machine effective within a large range of viscosities of the working medium. The simple geometrical shape and the interaction of ‘plane-with-plane’ and ‘sphere-with-sphere’ contacting parts provides the machine with an extended service life.
