    摘要: An embodiment of method used to control operation of a screw compressor of a refrigeration system may include receiving status signals regarding operation of the screw compressor of the refrigeration system. The method may further include determining an operating point of the screw compressor based upon the received status signals, and selecting a torque profile for the screw compressor based upon the operating point. The method may also include driving the screw compressor per the selected torque profile. Refrigeration systems and compressor systems suitable for implementing the method are also presented.

In the compressor (20), the first compression chamber (61) and the second compression chamber (62) differ in the phase of capacity changing cycle from each other by 180° and the third compression chamber (63) and the fourth compression chamber (64) also differ in the phase of capacity changing cycle from each other by 180°. In a cylinder nonoperating mode, refrigerant is compressed in a single stage in each of the first compression chamber (61) and the second compression chamber (62) while the refrigerant compression operation is halted in the third compression chamber (63) and the fourth compression chamber (64). In a two-stage compression mode, refrigerant compressed in a single stage in each of the first compression chamber (61) and the second compression chamber (62) is further compressed in the third compression chamber (63) and the fourth compression chamber (64).

    摘要: Disclosed is a system for controlling a compressor of a cooling system. The system includes: the compressor having a driving shaft that is rotatable clockwise and counterclockwise and operated by a power of a motor outputting different torque characteristics depending on the rotational directions of the driving shaft; a selector for selecting an output torque characteristic of the motor; a switching part for turning on or off the motor; and a control unit for controlling the selector to drive the compressor in a torque characteristic suitable for an object to be cooled. In an aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for controlling an operation of a compressor in a cooling system. The method includes the steps of: (a) an initial starting step of starting the compressor equipped with a motor different torque characteristics depending on rotary directions of a driving shaft at a first torque characteristic; (b) determining the operation torque characteristic of the motor; (c) when it is determined that the motor operates at the first torque characteristic in consequence of performing the step (b), if a first condition is met during an operation of the compressor, stopping the compressor, (d) determining whether it is suitable to continuously operate the motor at the first torque characteristic in a state that the compressor is stopped, and if it is determined that it is suitable, maintaining the operation torque characteristic of the motor, while if it is determined that it is not suitable, converting the operation torque characteristic of the motor from the first torque characteristic to a second torque characteristic, and if a second condition is met, operating the compressor.

    摘要: The present invention provides a vacuum line for pumping gas from a process chamber, the vacuum line comprising at least: a pump unit comprising a pump body and a motor; a gas exhaust system; first measurement means for measuring a functional parameter relating to the motor; second measurement means for measuring a functional parameter relating to the exhaust system; and prediction means for calculating the duration of use of the vacuum line. The prediction means calculate the duration of utilization of the vacuum line prior to failure of the pump unit from the measurement of a functional parameter relating to the motor provided by the first means and the measurement of a functional parameter relating to the exhaust system provided by the second means. In a variant, the vacuum line further includes third measurement means for measuring a functional parameter relating to the pump body, and the prediction means calculate the duration of use while taking account of the measurement of this parameter.

    摘要: A compound vacuum pump incorporating a screw mechanism section. The screw mechanism section comprising two externally threaded rotors mounted on respective shafts in a pump body. The rotors are adapted for counter-rotation in a first chamber within the pump body with intermeshing of the rotor threads to pump gas by action of the rotors. The root diameter of each rotor increases and the thread diameter of each rotor decreases in a direction taken from pump inlet and in which the gas is pumped. The pump additionally incorporates a roots mechanism section comprising two roots-type profile rotors also mounted on the respective shafts and adapted for counter-rotation in a second chamber within the pump body situated at an inlet end of the pump.
