摘要: A waste processing system includes a pyrolysis apparatus that pyrolyzes a combustible waste, a melt-and-mold apparatus that generates an ingot of resin and combustible gas from a synthetic-resin waste, and an oil extraction apparatus that generates combustible oil and combustible gas from the ingot of resin. The melt-and-mold apparatus has a melter that melts the synthetic-resin waste using heat produced by the pyrolysis apparatus, the oil extraction apparatus has a pyrolyzer that pyrolyzes the ingot of resin using the heat produced by the pyrolysis apparatus, and at least one of the combustible gas generated at the melt-and-mold apparatus and the combustible gas generated at the oil extraction apparatus is supplied to the pyrolysis apparatus.

摘要: A pyrolysis reactor system includes a reactor and a contactor mounted above the reactor. The reactor has a shell, an inlet and an outlet. A central shaft runs along its axis and supports agitation blades in a counter-helical arrangement, and an auger. Rotation of the auger in one direction feeds feedstock into the vessel, and in the opposite direction removes char at the end of a batch. The contactor includes four elements with a frusto-conical part supported on vertical support arms, and being connected to a disc by legs. The contactor elements allow short chains to pass through apertures while long chains condense on their surfaces or on the vessel wall surface. There is dynamic tuning of carbon number of gases flowing downstream by active temperature and pressure control at the contactor.

A syn-gas chamber including injection holes and a syn-gas feed line and a syn-gas nozzle plate is coupled between the second end of the burner chamber and the gas/fuel burner including over the nozzle, wherein syn-gas is directed by the injection holes into a path of the flame for combustion of the syn-gas. An air pipe having a plurality of air discharge ports extending from the first end to within the burner chamber having an air blower coupled thereto is configured to pump air into the burner chamber.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for operating combustion process in a furnace whereby a primary fuel and a secondary fuel are burnt, to an apparatus for injecting liquid oxygen into the furnace and also to the corresponding furnace. The method comprises at least the following steps: the primary fuel and a primary oxidizer are injected into the furnace to create a primary combustion zone, liquid oxygen is injected in as secondary oxidizer such that the secondary fuel combusts with the secondary oxidizer thereby creating a distinct secondary combustion zone. The invention makes it possible for a secondary fuel having a significantly lower calorific value than the primary fuel to be burnt completely in the furnace, such that a product to be produced in the furnace has an improved quality.

摘要: Upon cold startup of a gasification facility, a fluidized air 10 is supplied to a combustion furnace 9 to fluidize a combustion-furnace fluidized bed 11 while a preheating fuel 22 is supplied to the combustion furnace to preheat the fluidized bed 11 up to an autoignition temperature of coal. Then, a coal 23 is charged to the combustion furnace 9 to heat the fluidized bed 11 and bed material is circulated between the combustion and gasification furnaces 9 and 1 for heating. Upon startup and shutdown of the gasification facility, steam 2 from an exhaust heat recovery boiler 20 in heat exchange with an exhaust gas 15 from the combustion furnace 9 is supplied to the gasification furnace 1 to purge the gasification furnace 1 and a lead-out passage 6 with the steam 2 utilizing the exhaust heat.

摘要: A process is described for treating waste plastics material to provide at least one on-specification fuel product. Plastics material is melted and then pyrolysed in an oxygen-free atmosphere to provide pyrolysis gases. The pyrolysis gases are brought into contact with plates in a contactor vessel so that some long chain gas components condense and return to be further pyrolysed to achieve thermal degradation. Short chain gas components exit the contactor in gaseous form and proceed to distillation to provide one or more on-specification fuel products. A pipe directly links the pyrolysis chamber to the contactor, suitable for conveying upwardly-moving pyrolysis gases and downwardly-flowing long-chain liquid for thermal degradation.
